Whitchblade Question....bout the movie on WB

ok, I didn't read the comics, but I do know it's a sword which well, grows on you...I didn't think it gave on psuedopsychic powers like it seems to be on the TV show..was it added for the series, or was it in the book?

Also, how faithful was the series to the spirit of the book?

Give more than half an hour for people to respond. This isn't the most frequented board, you know.

But I haven't seen the movie or ever read the comics. I strayed away from the comics because of the extreme (and I do mean extreame, I mean, have you ever seen the Witchblade costume?) T&A of the book.

But what I do know (I've read the Medieval Spawn/Witchblade mini) is that the Witchblade is not a sword, but in fact a gauntlet that gives powers and fighting skills. I don't know anything else.
