Yay for CN giving a show that actually deserves it its due. Chwoder is a great show that is sorely overlooked by a lot of people who gave up on CN thinking it was all dreck like Out of Jimmy's Head now.

All right! More goodness. As long as the show continues its stellar quality it can be (and should be) renewed until it finally gets old. Not since Spongebob and Avatar have I seen such a vibrant, intertwined, creative cartoon universe.

Which probably shouldn't surprise me, considering who the staff and creator are.

Yeah, C. H. Greenblatt mentioned that about a month ago as well. One of the episodes is going to be a two-parter, which should be good, as 22 minute episodes are usually better than 11 minute episodes.

I find it ironic they are extending the season by 7 episodes though. Why didn't they just order a full second season of 13 episodes instead of essentially ordering a half season and classifying it as a continuation of season 1?

Congrats to C.H. Greenblatt and his team for giving us a reason to watch CN again. Apart from this and the WGA strike delaying all upcoming live action projects, we may actually witness CN being a CARTOON channel once again.

Now if only CN would pull the plug on Out of Jimmy's Head...

Wonder if another six eps will be bought to even the show out, since CN normally runs on orders of seasons that have 13 each.

Actually, I just realized something. What effect the show will have on CN's Kill-the-show-at-78-episodes rule?

Hurray for Chowder, C. H. Greenblatt and his team for creating it and for CN for actually doing something good with a great animated show. I definitely enjoy watching Chowder as its one of the few current cartoons that I can actually get a few laughs out of. The humor is great and I'm glad that it got some new episodes. The one for this Friday looks pretty cool and I'm sure that it will be funny.

If Cartoon Network releases some of it's employee-only Chowder stuff to the public, I'll be happy. :anime: They are keeping the real Chowder hats away from us! I need one of those Chowder hats.

I too, am so thrilled about this show!

***If there is anyone out there who is still "boycotting" Cartoon Network because of all the grumbling about "live action", "too many repeats", "why don't they show --- from 4 years ago", "they cancelled blah de blah blah blah blah blah blah blah", and on and on and on: You're doing yourself a big disservice by missing this fantastic, entertaining piece of animation brilliance. You just HAVE to check it out- it's delightfully funny!

Hooray for Mr. Greenblat and the rest of the crew of Chowder. That includes everyone to Voices Actors/Actresses, the writing staff, the animators, and any other important aspect that I forgot like viewers/fans.

After some dissapointing shows, Chowder IMO is one of the best thing on the network that isn't a repeat of an old show, or Foster's.

That's it! I must sit down and watch at least one episode of this show now.

I don't know. We have at least two years to kill before we have to think about that.

Well, it's a good thing. Maybe they're gonna order seasons of 20 episodes now.

And Code Lyoko made it well past 78 episodes!!
I think Chowder can too!!

Finally, CN doesn't have to regret renewing a excellent cartoon this time (Camp Lazlo, Gym Partner, and Squirrel Boy, anyone?)!

Let's hope CN cancels Out Of Jimmy's Dead (and the other live action crap, and take Goosebumps off for good also) and keep the cartoons on the show into a spinoff series.

If Chowder, Transformers, George Of The Jungle, Foster's and The Eds keep CN afloat, CN can happily turn into Cartoon Network again with just cartoons again (even though it may be mostly originals and acquisitions).

Code Lyoko was an aquisition, not a CN original. Pointing it out is like pointing out that the Dragonball trilogy (Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball GT), Yu Yu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Poke'Mon, Zoids, or many other anime aquisitions made it past 78 episodes. It had nothing to do with CN.

Yeah! Code Lyoko is obviosly France. You can tell from the style of animation.

C.H. Greenblatt-Sleep eating, giants, mold, stand-up comedy, snot balls, pee breaks, dead rats, food fights, country songs, balloon men, lard vats... the usual.

Yup that's pretty much what we should expect...some of which already happened. ;)

Yes, I knew it was French.

But, my point is, CN could have stopped airing it at any time during the series' run.
