Adult Swim: The Fansite has scheduled a live chat with Sealab 2021 creators/directors/writers Matt Thompson and Adam Reed, and the Fett of Funk, MC Chris.
The chat will be held on Friday between 8 - 9 PM EST.

I'm willing to jump in and say I'm the biggest Sealab fan here... trust me... Wait til my site comes out (these 4 page long reviews dont write themselves!)
Needless to say I'm wetting myself thinking about this chat...

Way too many voiced and opped people. I think there was like 6 or 7 people with voice or op, which meant that Andy's comments and the fan's questions got entirely drowned out, not to mention the voices and mods ALL tried to take questions, which was just a bad idea.
Only two or three op/voice people are needed for a live chat.

At least we tried. We admited it was awful, and yes, there were to many voices and ops, some ops that weren't even normal ops, and disorganization. I was somewhat surprised we got Andy Merrill, and also somewhat surprised he made it through that whole chat. It was a mess. But for #adultswim's first celeb chat, we handled it okay. The next one (if "the next one" happens) will be far more organized. Good luck with this one though, Matt. But don't hurt us so much. WE GOT ANDY MERRRILL. Thats pretty good. :P

I sure as heck can't wait for this one, and for the chat problem question, why not do a moderated chat kind of thing, where the fans submit questions to the mods, who then ask the stars, so there's no problems like I have heard about the last one.

The Merill chat WAS moderated. But there were too many moderators, and the moderators didn't just want to shoot off people's questions.. they all had to get their comment in, and it drowned off people.

well, the main reason we weren't prepared was because he showed up half an hour earlier than expected (which was when we were trying to start getting organized). i suppose we shouldve got organized alot earlier. as for the ops, i agreed during the chat that there were too many. i take the weight of drowning out peoples questions myself, so for the 30th time, I APOLOGIZE, to the people who attended the chat, to all the mods and ops there, and to andy merrill himself, of course. i know ive made this speech before, but im willing to do it again. hate me all you want, but ive done my apologizing. good luck, matt. i know youll do alot better that i did.

Are the Sealab creators the same creators of The Brak Show and Aqua Teen Hunger Force? I ask this because I've seen characters from Sealab overlap into ATHF and The Brak Show. And Zorak (spelling), he's in both The Brak Show and Space Ghost.

"Thanks for what", you ask? For taking a preachy, boring-as-watching-paint-dry cartoon (Sealab 2020) and turning it into something interesting and, surprise, surprise, FUNNY! (SL2021)
By the way...just for ****z n' giggles, I decided to check out Sealab 2020 on the Boomerang channel last time it was on, because I thought it would be cool to see the original now that I am familiar with it's hilarious mutant cousin.
My verdict?
GAWD, THAT SHOW SUCKED SOUR FROG ***** THROUGH A BENDY-STRAW!!!

Woooo yea Sealab creators!!! One question: is there a limit to the number of people in the chat? Am I gonna have to be glued to the computer and press "refresh" every so often and look for somethin that might take me there? Jeez, I hope not. I've been to chats like that. You have to press it every 5 seconds praying that someone left of was booted off or something. Ugh.
