Yeah I'm probably going to end up putting myself way to close to being a potential Onion article for this but here goes.

Alot of people are specualting that the conclusion of issue no. 150 will result in John Stewart being made GL again.

Myself? I honestly dont think DC would be that cool. But that certainally wont stop them from teasing people with it.

JLTAS has for my money proved just how cool a character and a GL that John Stewart can be (not to mention their version of the Corps and OA, and the Manhunters also rocked). I would love to see him weild the ring as *the* Green Lantern of sector 2814.

I don't read the GL comics myself, but I do keep up with the story online(I'm gonna start with #150) and if I'm not mistaken isn't John Stewart in a wheelchair in the comics. I've only heard this once and mostly keep up with the current comics.

Is Kyle bombing out that bad as the only Green Lantern??

I only picked up the books around when Hal went wakka wakka but after that I drifted off again.

ok, last I checked, Kyle had merged with the ring or something, and became Ion...a near godlike entity..pretty groovy stuph or something...

And John was talking with some chick he fought in his past...or something.

In the summary I read at TZ for the may comics, it said the ion is no more. what that means for kyle, i do not know

I don't think DC will replace Kyle. That'd be admitting that Kyle was a bad idea to begin with, and I don't see them doing it.

I think it'd totally rule if John became GL. DC's done stuff like this in the past, I think they'd be willing to do it again. Besides, he's GL in the cartoon, and they're bringing Aquaman back because he's in the cartoon. And the whole bringing back Aquaman thing was Paul Levitz's idea, and now Levitz is Pres (which is the single worst thing DC's done in a LOOONNNG time).

sO PRESIDENT kAHN IS GONE?

No disrespect, BUT we've seen DC the SAME for a LOoong time now. Perhaps change will be good.

And I dont see anything wrong with Aquaman, he just needs to be done right.

My thing with DC, I think they need to catch up in the Art dept.

Green Lantern pulls way to high sales for a shake-up like changing the main character. It is currently #50 out of the top 100 comics which is higher than either Flash or Wonder Woman.

That's just it. Change IS good. But Paul Levitz is one of the most conservative people at DC.

I love Aquaman, too. But if you're gonna kill him, let him stay dead.

The art at DC is good, but Marvel is kicking their *** in that department.
