I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or if you're genuinely shocked.
Because, honestly, nothing she does matters to or shocks me anymore. She wasn't that good when she was active, and she's annoying now.
As drunken Kuwa would say "her antics only amuse herself".

I give her a few more months before she either kills herself (because rumor has it she's been suicidal) or ends up over dosing on drugs and alcohol.
Somebody put this woman on house arrest, please.

My one big question is,
Why the hell was Dr. Phil at the hospital? Everyone wants a piece of her..her trainwreck is being eaten up like vultures fighting over a rabbit corpse on the side of the road.
When her and Lindsay Lohan overdose, I will not be surprised

I'm not sure what to think over this. Part of me says: "somebody stop her!" while the other (the more dominant I Despise Brittany with a Passion half) says: "Serves you right you *expletive deleted*". The whole thing is just spiraling out of control.

Gee, what's going on with the Spears?!?!? Everyday it's something! Jamie's pregnancy, Mom collecting money off Brit and Jamie, custody of kids, drinking and drinking and smoking. They're screwed. This is almost like Anna Nicole Smith to me (millions of problems). Remember kids, the more money you have, the more problems you'll see.

That's is simply an ignorant statement. There are plenty of people out there that have a lot of money and still live normal lives.
Many of the problems that Britney has could just as easily happen to any average Joe or Jane in any of our lives. The fact that we all get to watch her downward spiral before our eyes thanks to the damnable media doesn't mean that she deserves the kind of blind hatred that people so often direct at her.
This latest incident actually makes me pity her a little more. From what I've read, she wasn't drunk or high or anything like that, she simply snapped. And even if there was alcohol or drugs involved, if it was your neighbor or your best friend would you say something like "Who cares?" or "I bet she won't see 2009." Of course you wouldn't. For some reason, people think that just because a person is rich and famous that they somehow deserve it when something like this happens. At least Dr. Phil seems to show a little compassion toward the poor girl -- something that certainly isn't evident among some of the downright vicious people talking about her on the internet. Sure, some of the more cynical people here will probably say that he just wants to use her as fodder for his show, but he's never struck me as that type of person. I'm not sure that he could help her anymore than anyone else, but at least he wants to.
And this is all coming from someone who was never really a Britney fan. I don't necessarily dislike her music, but I've never owned any of it either.

It maybe be partly ignorant, but it's not incompletely false. Money mixed with the flash of celebrity stardom is not a good thing. Even the late rapper Biggie Smalls wrote a song called 'mo money mo problems' because it's an actual issue in the movie and music industry. Sure these things could happen to the average person, but the fact that they have enough money to buy them out of each terrible situation doesn't help their cause.
edit- their type of lifestyle is probably going to weigh in alot here too.

The point is that it really comes down to the individual. The money and the fame aren't the deciding factor. If they were, then every celebrity in the world would be a mess just like Britney. Blaming the money and the fame is just a cop out that people use to explain things like this. "She's messed up royally? Oh! She's got tons of money! There you go everyone, money brings nothing but trouble! Now aren't you glad that you've got that 9-to-5 job and can barely pay your bills? At least you have less chance of having a nervous breakdown on the national news."
There are plenty of level-headed and normal rich people out there. The trouble is, people like that don't make the national news because they're, well, level-headed and normal.
I probably shouldn't have made that original response, but ignorant blanket statements like that just irritate me to no end.

The problem with Britney is that her mom(and Britney herself) pushed herself as a kid to make it big, not she's an adult trying to reclaim that freedom that she gave away to dedicate to building her career. To many times we've seen this seinerio again and again, kids and their parent work so hard to make it. Then the kids grow up they make their own friends and start making the wrong choices. Brtiney made this situation, she's ignored the court's orders several times and the biggest problem is that no one told her "NO! Don't do that" and anyone that did she threw them out of her life. Hopefully she can pull things together not just for herself but for her children as well.

I'm glad nothing happened to the baby. From the sounds of it, if she did snap, this situation could have turned out a lot worse. Acting silly in public is one thing, but if she had she killed her kid, there is no coming back from that.

Well, it's half true. Considering the lifestyles of Anna Nicole Smith, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and many celebrities from the past to now we may not know. However, there are many people (and celebrities) who's learned to handle their money and lifestyle. Sorry if I offended you.

I don't doubt drugs played some part in this, but I think she had a complete mental breakdown. I looked at the photos and her emotions were ranging wildly.
This is too tabloidly for this forum, no?

For the Entertainment Board? Come now.
I bet the Jamie Lynn thing drove her even further to the edge, but I certainly hope she pulls back. Hopefully these people won't be letting her out of their sight, which is what should've been done months ago.

Yeah, I agree that it looks like a case of Dead Woman Walkin'. Then again, it's the sort of nonsence that the circus dé celeberty has created for god knows who's amusement.

Britney will live. If anyone is going to end up dying this year, it will end up being Lohan from a car accident.
As for her sister, I don't understand the big deal. It isn't like a 16 yr old being pregnant is anything new.

Yes, but then the question that will be on all of our minds is will she know who killed her?

Somebody SHOULD stop her. Many of us, myself included, think that Britney's behavior is going to be the death of her. Aren't people close to her paying attention to these warning signs? She should have people looking after her, and if she does end up dead, it'd be a shame since it's so easy to see coming.

Its really sad when it almost seems like she doesn't even want help. And those who are trying to help her are fired (employees) and/or ignored (apparently her family, correct me if I'm wrong). It was really tacky of her record label to release a most likely not ready album during this point in her life. And its not as if she can [be in the position] to promote it, so what was the point? I guess they thought it would sell because of her personal life.

Shes has the worst parents in the world. They let her sister boyfriend stay under the same roof whit her(jamie) and we all know what came out of that. Her mom is busying selling out her own kids to the media and now her dad seem to losing his own mind too behind all this mess.

It all starts with Brit being unable to get a firm grip on reality. All the success she's had went to her head, and made her believe she was above everyone else. Happens to a lot of these kids. Now, K-Fool isn't that much better as a parent (drugs, anyone?), so it'd be a better case to take the boys away from him and put them in foster care before they get too caught up in this trash.
Naturally, the Daily News had to put Brit on the front page Sunday because Dr. Phil bailed her out. Give it a rest and send the kid to a nunnery.

Its a shame to see what is happening to Britney. Whether it is drugs or some kind of Brain Illness; her state of mind is clearly not right. Some people are laughing at her, but I'm not. She can't help herself and she needs to be committed somewhere or she'll end up killing herself, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Its a shame to see somebody go through with this kind of crap, whether famous or not.

I think that the best thing for those Spears' (Britney especially) to do is just get the frell out of show business for a while. Britney is basically a joke now. She's now only known for being a nut job, not a singer/pop star. Both her and Jamie Lynn should just pack up and leave California, possible even the U.S., move away from the bad influences, get real jobs and just experience life outside of the public eye for a year or more and rediscover themselves. If they stay where they are now, they'll only end up screwing up their own lives and the lives of those around them even more than they already have. Jamie Lynn is going to be a mother before she's even 20. She has basically ruined her life, not to mention the life of her child who's going to be raised by a mother who is herself a child.

I'm uncomfortable with the continual media coverage of Britney. It just feeds the problem, which is that she's living her life only in the public eye.
This girl needs some therapy, some space, a long break from her career and a home somewhere on planet earth where she can live away from the press.
This is really get your life together time. I mean, really, it's not funny anymore (though I was never laughing to begin with).
I hope she is brave enough to make the changes she needs to and think about being the best mother to her kids that she can be. We don't need a pop princess anymore. They need a mother. And Britney needs to respect herself.
All these things will take time.
I remember hearing about a group of Britney fans trying to encourage people not to buy her latest album to send the message that she needs to put her career on hold. I'm thinking now that it would have been good for that to succeed.
Edit:
Jamie Lynn is going to be a mother before she's even 20. She has basically ruined her life, not to mention the life of her child who's going to be raised by a mother who is herself a child.
!?! You think that having a baby before 20 ruins a girl's life? It changes it, certainly, but you can't put a judgement on it. It is what it is. If the girl can put her child first and be strong, she'll not only survive being a young mother but enjoy it and become a better person for it.
You really need to re-evaluate your beliefs, I think. Being good isn't about living up to certain expectations others have for your life. It's about making the best out of what life throws at you.
Seriously, it's saying/writing stuff like that that messes with people's heads (not that Jamie Lynn is reading this). The child isn't even born yet, and you're saying its life is ruined...!?!
...
What makes it especially sad is she continually says that she realizes she needs to turn her life around, then continues to slip more and more into depravity. I think she's made some really stupid decisions over the last several years, but I hope that eventually things work out okay for everyone, though I have a feeling they won't.
