Hey

Whilst you're all finishing off your December pieces, I thought now would be the appropiate time to start thinking about what we'd like to do for this months jam. As always, all suggestions will be considered if not for this month, then perhaps the next one.

This thread will be bumped every month, so please feel free to pop in with any suggestions anytime you like.

Looking forward to seeing what you've all got!

Best,
Stu

a couple of suggestions I have, one directly linking with the new year are as followed.

1. State an artistic new year's revolution you have and submit your first piece heading toward that goal. (ex. I want to become better at drawing giant robots;submission would be one mecha robot....its that simple:) .

2. this is just kinda random, but its to draw a movie poster. it can be a poster for a short story by your favorite author, or completely fictional and from the imagination. if you want you can even give the synopsis of what the non-existent movie is all about.

any ideas on or variations of the above are very much welcome. here's just my 2 cents and I think I'll be submitting some more ideas as the year progresses and hopefully be participating as well.

Here's an interisting suggestion: Draw villain as a hero. How would Luthor, The Joker, Dr. Doom etc look like if they fought crime instead of doing it?

James and I have been kicking around the idea of a Justice League month to tie in with the release of The New Frontier.

Yay or nay?

We always seem to be fixated on DCAU ASJ, but if you guys enjoy them the most, then that's what we shall offer. This isn't school, we're not here to overtly challenge you, and there are a whole host of JL related heroes, side characters and villains to work with.

Besides, surely everyone is sick to death with Valentines themes?
