Here's my prediction of the future of the Spice Girls:

They'll continue the reunion tour, then they'll announce that they're gonna go into the studio to make a comeback album. Then, one of them will announce that they're leaving the group (this time, it won't be Geri). The group will soldier on without her, this time, replacing her with a new member. Geri, Mel B. and Mel C. will write and produce most of the album (as well as recieve executive producing credits) and work with some legendary R&B/Hip Hop producers as well. The album will be the group's swan song and they'll end up playing smaller venues till they decide to go their seperate ways once again. So where will they be after that?:

Geri Halliwell will revive her solo career and compose and produce songs for herself and others.

Melanie Brown will go behind the scenes and start her own multimedia production company. Which'll include her own record label.

Melanie Chisholm will venture off into acting in films, TV and Broadway.

Victoria Beckham will leave show business completely and concentrate on her clothing line and gain success in Paris, France.

Emma Bunton (like Beckham) will leave show business as well and live a quiet life in England. And will teach martial arts to young children.

There is no way they're releasing an album of new material. Their first new single absolutely bombed, despite heavy promotion from a charity tie-in, which usually guarantees you a no.1. There is simply no real interest in new Spice Girl material, or the Spice Girls themselves, beyond the current nostalgia fix. At least one of them had to be dragged kicked and screaming onto the comeback bus anyway. Once the final comeback tour check has cleared, that's that.

Those are very, um, specific.

Good work sonny!

Yeah, that's likely true. Which is too bad, because I would like to have caught one of the shows this tour, but no such luck. Oh well.
