Interesting format with a countdown rather than random matches. I believe this is the first voice-over guided show in at least 5 years. Reminded me of some of the highlight shows that Michael Cole used to host.

I had no idea the crowd wasn't split as I thought at Mania. Lots of boos for Batista. THat's the power of Taker I guess. He's someone who has earned a pass of not getting booed by hard work and respect by the fans.

I must have missed the boat on voting on the matches, I don’t even recall hearing about that. Even without my vote, some pretty good matches were selected. ;)

I always feel a little cheated when a match from free TV is featured but Cena-Michaels from April was very good. I was telling my brother I didn’t remember it being that long.

The other four PPV matches were all pretty good picks and as they went to commercial I called Taker-Batista being number one. I love traditional Survivor Series matches so I was pleased to see that match come in at number two. Perhaps WWE will get the message and give us more than one match next year.

I was happy to see that it wasn’t just matches and they covered some of the other action of the year like the RAW XV episode, the return of Y2J, Hornswoggle revealed as Vince’s son, Austin giving Santino a beer bath, Edge cashing in the briefcase we saw Kennedy earn earlier in the show, Donald Trump and even Eve winning the Diva Search.

1st voiceover-driven show since the demise of Superstars 5 years ago. I guess they figured that Michael Cole has the show to himself this week---his new partner might be announced at Sunday's taping---and can continue playing "invisible man", since he was heard but not seen Monday.

Can't argue with the Cena-Michaels match being on the list. Totally forgot about it when I did my awards over at 2xzone.com last week. It was the only one of the 5 I actually watched since I don't order PPV's.

Wrestlemania 23 bookended the countdown with 2 of the 5 matches being from that show.

I see they're bringing back the "Beat the Clock" format. I'll not be surprised to see someone other than Batista or Undertaker winning, since Edge wants to avoid them like the plague. Mysterio-Edge sounds like a good bet.
