I think I mentioned this before in another thread, but wouldn't it be great if a classic channel like Boomerang started showing Schoolhouse Rock as filler in between shows?

I know Schoolhouse Rock is a Disney property now, but it would still be a good idea...imagine this milk:

Scooby Doo goes off and immediately afterward we get a Schoolhouse Rock "Conjunction Junction" or "Number 12" Multiplication rock or maybe even "Unpack my adjectives" mini toon in there.

That would rock, surely.

I learned a lot from those when I was in school. I love to watch them still.:D

That would be a nice idea, actually, but unfortunately, it can never happen as long as Schoolhouse Rock is property of Disney.

On a side-note, Schoolhouse Rock is available on DVD (http://entertainment.circuitcity.com/Movies/Movie.aspx?prodid=WD2304803DVD&store=Movies&si=ccity-prod&channel=b2c&partner=cc&catOid=-13219) now. I saw them at Circuit City while I was Xmas shopping last week.

I have the DVD....it'd just be nice for it to be televised again on something like Boomerang...it would be soooo nostalgic.:D

I agree it would be perfect for Boom insteed of those TERRIBLE quick draw/Huck Hound/Jabberjaw updated cartoons between the shows.

Problem is, I think Disney owns Schoolhouse Rock.

Come on. They're not all that bad. I liked "Sound Hound", "Josie and the Pussycats: Musical Revolution" and "El Kabong Rides Again", myself. The only problem that I personally have with those bumpers is that lately Boomerang has been showing the same 4 or 5 of them all the time now. I practically know all of the dialogue to "Harrasscat" and "Miss Understanding".

Problem is, I think Disney owns Schoolhouse Rock.Disney does own Schoolhouse Rock. They own ABC and so they most likley obtained it when they bought the network.
