Why the heck not? I'm all for it. One learns that in life many things they do maybe based off a lie but it takes a true hero to continue that journey even if it did begin on a lie (which is why I was okay with the Uncle Ben's killer thing in Spider-Man 3).

Yeah it's true. Thankfully though after that Marvel decided to launch Garth Ennis' Punisher series to make up for that stupid decision. And why are so many super heroes angels? I remember when Supergirl was on too.

So if Johnny Blaze's Ghost Rider is an angel, then where the hell is Zarathos? I thought he regenerated within Johnny a while back and last I check he was demon.
Also if I remember correctly Danny's Ghost Rider (Noble Kale) was an angel too. The Angel of Death I believe.

If you read the issue, it explains why Ghost Rider, (who seems to be of a demonic nature) hunts down demons. The reason is, Ghost Rider is an Angel, and the two corrupt Angels that Host Rider burned with his Penance's Stare confirmed it. Ghost Rider was used by both Heaven and Hell.

I'm going to take an unpopular stance and say that I find the decision to make him an angel to be interesting. From what I read in the interview, the writers seem to have things under control compared to when the Marvel writers completely botched Frank Castle being "Zombisher". It's a cool idea but the execution is where it counts. I'm definitely going to check it out.
