I don't know if anyone has added such a post, put can you please tell me in which year was the 1980's superman animated series released? From when to when? Or if someone doesn't know it's from the eighties the date of release of the second animated superman series?

I can help you there.

CBS's Superman series, produced by Ruby-Spears, ran from September 17, 1988 to September 12, 1989.

In addition to to featuring 13 new adventures of the caped crimefighter, the series also contained a second segment called "Superman Family Album", tracing Superman's youth, also in 13 installments.

Yep. Actually watched some of the eps. Had a non-cable set in the kitchen at the time and I'd use that to watch the show. Aired at 8:30 (ET), a timeslot familiar to Super Friends fans, which I think might've been CBS' intent. Unfortunately, they didn't really do enough to promote the show, and viewers tuned out.

In this series Superman grabbed up Lois & flew her everywhere(& I mean Every scene:confused: ) he went. It also features short episodes of young Clark on the Kent farm.

I have heard of it, yet I have never seen it other than a "Saturday Rocks on CBS" promo. I guess it was either not airing in my area, on too early, or I was watching something I liked a lot better at the time.

Superman aired against the first half hour of 'The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh', which had an hour on ABC in it's premiere year, and they *conveniently* aired the episodes so that the full 22 minute episodes were in the middle of the show (8:45 to 9:15) with the 11 minute shorts bookending them, making it virtually impossible to watch a half hour of Pooh and then flip over to something else.

Pooh must have been eating honey laced with kryptonite that year...

Say no more. I would have never seen it if it meant missing Pooh Bear. Man, I loved that show as a kid.
