I have a question on the show because I was wondering why did it cancelled prematurely? It only had 2 seasons and 26 episodes. Was that the limit or it didn't get high ratings? Can someone tell me? Thanks.

I'm guessing it had something to do with ratings. It was such a good show also. But unfortunately, it went the way of Megas XLR.

I guess it was just a failed idea. They thought it would work and well it obviously didn't. Personally I saw the show as 'okay...' but I can say that I can live on without it. One show I think that was ended prematurely was Time Squad. But for 'Class of 3000' I don't think so...to be honest I am suprised that it even got another season. (Heck you can tell that they tried to save the show...[They made soundtracks for the two seasons which gave a laugh]) Anyway...I guess it has to be that way.

Oh I see. At least they did try to give the show more appeal but I guess that didn't work. It did get 26 episodes at least.

I heard it was a budget thing. Apparently, the show was expensive to produce, and the shows' ratings weren't high enough to justify the cost.
I guess I'm in the minority because I was one of the few people who liked the show. I'd rather see more episodes of Class of 3000 or Megas XLR than Time Squad. Sorry.

I feel the same way. It was a pretty good show.

That's too bad. I didn't even know that it was canneled until now. I did enjoy Class of 3000 too. I thought that it was a fun and okay show. I saw it as one of the better recent cartoons that CN has made. I never was too much into Time Squad, but I would rather see more episodes of Class of 3000. I never saw enough of Megas XLR to make an opinion on it. Have all of the episodes aired for Class of 3000 yet? I was just wondering since they aired the Chirstmas special just a week or so ago.

Well I will give you 'Megas XLR'. That was one of the good shows that died too early. I will agree that show was pretty awesome! But I still think 'Time Squad' should have stayed on longer. But I will say if any Cartoon on CN that died too early without a proper ending it would definitly be 'Megas XLR'

Yay! Other people who like Class of 3000!
Oh, by the way, there'll be two new episodes airing on the next Fried Dynamite. =D

I liked the show too, so I'm disappointed to see it get the boot so quickly. It really is a shame because it was getting much better with Season 2 (IMO).

Oh, that probably makes esnse, especially since they had a semi-well known recording artist who appeared in every ep on the show, and the (god awful) music numbers prolyl didn't help with the costs either
Class of 3000 will be missed, and it was a better show to come out of CN recently, especially comapred to Squirrel Boy or Camp Lazlo..
But i'd rather see more Megas than this
Class of 3000 felt like a really generic show that had been done many times before, but at the same time, the show had really sharp writing, which is more than I can say for a lot of CN's animated shows nowadays.

They are just slightly more dringing than the voice of Chowder, which is dispise
The muic is usually what brings down this show for me thoguh. Usually the entire ep gets an A/B, but the Music Number always brings it down a letter grade for me

It was a show created by a musician about a musician who teaches a music class, so naturally there was going to be a lot of music on the show. I'm not always in favor of musical numbers on shows either, but given the premise, I knew to expect them.
Anyway, not all of the songs on Class of 3000 were bad, IMO. There were a few which I quite liked (ex: "Kim & Kam Jam", "UFO Ninja", "My Mentor", "Cool Kitty", "Fight the Blob").

Uh. The music was good, but wasn't worth skipping over. Some of it was even catchy.
Sad to see it get the boot so quickly.

Heh, "Cool Kitty":D . Personally, I saw this show as the channel's potential replacement for Foster's once it's gone, but shame the higher-ups and kids don't agree with me.

I'm sad that the show was cannled and would love for it to get a third season. I was a fan of it myself, Eddie was my favorite character on the show. The music numbers were some times great, the Chritsmas song for instance was one of my favorites this year. You say there will be two more episodes this year? That's great, I guess I'll have to check it out.

Actually, those two episodes I was talking about aired on Friday night.
Though...I'm still kind of confused...there should have been 13 episodes of Class of 3000 in its second season, yet only nine have aired so far. I guess there was the Christmas special, which may have been counted as two episodes. That would bring up the total to 11 episodes for this season, but that still leaves two remaining episodes.
So...maybe there are a couple of more Class of 3000 episodes left...or maybe not...

I won't believe that this show is cancelled unless someone has proof, so you shouldn't either. As far as I'm concerned, no one's said a thing about what happened to "Squirrel Boy".

OK,maybe YOU didn't have to sit through a whole marathon of it like I did.
The show was okay, but everyone Little D looked he should be more like a sailor then a drummer and the rest were just genericness.

Well, unless you were tied to chair while being held hostage at a Cartoon Network studios store with you eyelids taped open and you head affixed to the monitor, I doubt that you had to sit through the marathon. Remember that just because a show is on, it doesn't mean that you have to watch it. The remote control exists for a reason, you know.

I really don't mind that it got cancelled. But I'd give it one more shot. Another 13 episodes. I didn't really like it.
Why is nobody complaning about The Life and Times of Juniper Lee?!
I loooooooooooooevd that show! Megas XLR was cool, and so wat time squad.
CN needs to re-think adding so many new shows.
I say bring back Dexters Lab, Cow and Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Megas XLR, Juniper Lee, Billy and Mandy, and Time Squad.
It's probably too late to save most of those shows, though.
Juniper Lee's last 2 episodes were CN Video only...It's a shame.

I thought that the movie (first one,((Did they have 2?)) ) was the only good part of the series.
I couldn't watch a episode because the songs and half the characters were as annoying as hell. Did anyone else hate it when "Cool Kitty" and others started appearing as commercials? I used to not like it when CN showed music videos like that Circles one with Yogi...

I don't know about that. The last season of Dexter's Lab was horrible. Unless CN studios could somehow convince Genddy Tartakofsky to come back, I personally don't need to see any more new Dexter's.
And the issue isn't that CN needs to bring back all of it's old shows (they can't just keep running the same shows ad infinitum. CN's ratings would drop like a lead balloon covered in fat people if it went on for over a decade without changing it's schedule). It's that CN needs to bring in some new shows that are as good as some of the previous hits were.
