Need help with figuring out a Superfriends episode

Ok there was this episode of the Superfriends, it features the Wondertwins and in this partiular episode the Superfirends go to the center of the Earth and get turned into trolls. I can't remember the name of the episode or which Superfriends series it was part of, but it had the Wonder Twins.

Can anybody help me or point in the right direction?

That's an easy one. "The Lord of Middle Earth", from 1979's "World's Greatest Super Friends" series.

Thank you very much Hobbyfan, that's been bothering me for along time. You know I really wish that they hadn't changed the title of the series so many times during the years.


Is this episode on either of the current Superfriends season sets, and does anyone know where I can get screencaps from this episode?

The episode's not on DVD yet. The next series being released is 'The All New Superfriends Hour', but 'World's Greatest' will hopefully be released in 09.

Thanks Tobias, I guess I'll just have to catch it the next time it's on Boomerang. Speaking of Boomerang do they show the Superfriends in proper order or do they skip around, because I really hope that, that episode will be coming up soon.

They show most of it in order, but they skip around when it comes to the Legendary Superpowers Show. The order goes:

- Challenge of the Superfriends
- World's Greatest Superfriends
- 2 episodes of the Legendary Superpowers Show
- Superpowers Team
- The last 6 Legendary Superpowers episodes

Then on occasion Boomerang will air the hour long episodes (All New Superfriends Hour and the 1973 episodes) for a few roations before going back to the half hour shows.
