goopy geer site

does anyone know the user id and password for the FTP site? I think it changed on me.

I tried to FTP Goopy Geers archives, but when the connection is accepted, FTP program logs the site, receive welcome message etc. But when it tries to get directory listing there´s an error message. (can´t login, still trying).
Any tip what could be the reason of that?

It happened to me too. Just use Goopy as your user id and geer as password. After a couple of days it straightened itself out. Maybe it was a temporary network error or overcrowding on the server.

Well the problem was not with the server. Login was accepted, but connection was broken while retrieving directory list.

that's exactly what happened to me. I logged on the next day doing the same thing and it just worked. Can't explain it. Just remember to use goopy and geer as user id and password.
