"Dripalong Daffy" (edited AND time compressed!)
"From A To ZZZ"
"My Little Duckaroo"
-So my question is this: how come they can use Chuck Jones' likeness, name, works, and characters in a show that uses edited, time-altered and unexplained cartoons? Why is possibly the greatest director of cartoons who ever lived and is still living being given possibly the worst cartoon show ever compiled? Heck, I never cared for the Tex Avery show much because it didn't really explain, via Warner and Early MGM cartoons, what Tex Avery really means to animation. But it had informative segments, Chuck Jones doesn't even have that. Bob Clampett Show was great because it didn't edit the cartoons, and for the most part tried to air things in black and white that were meant to be shown that way (and when shown colorized, they chose cartoons that at least looked better that way). And Bob Clampett really isn't even my favorite director...there are some of his cartoons I change the channel on. But Chuck Jones? One can never watch too many Jones cartoons, and he is one of the most interesting of all, he's written two books, won several Oscars, directed tons of footage...and they give him a 30-minute compilation of bad prints of overplayed cartoons, with no information or even 'watch for this' suggestions? This is despicable. Bring back Clampett, and cancel this $#*+!
