Begining next week, there will be alot more to cheer about! Next weekend is when Batman Beyond begins airing at 10:30pm (the weekday Toonami slot still intact), Superman at 2am and Batman at 2:30am on Saturdays. It's a start, I'll give it that.

Well since I already have both parts of TEB (widescreen) on tape I didn't bother to set my VCR last week and was busy so I missed it but didn't they show TEB part 1 last Sunday? If so I would think that that would be a dead giveaway to expect TEB part 2 tonight. :p ;) :D

It just played this very minute! We see a huge accident caused by Hawkgirl, Superman and another leaguer (?) captured by a ship, some red-skull-ish looking guy with a creepy voice, Draaga in all his deformed glory, and Mongul with a strangely kingly voice.

Anyone know who the red-skull guy is or who is voicing Mongul?

That episode looks so cool! I didn't think Draaga looked liked that. And Mongul looks cool although his voice is kinda of interesting. And the animation looks real good.

Mongul did seem a little nice. But then again, he's gotta keep up appearances, being the ruler of Warworld and all (true, he could go the way of Darkseid, but Warworld looks like it's doing a little better than that). I'm sure by Part 2 he'll just blow up and be a total bad-*****.

Superman better kick some major booty here. Just wait for Bruce Timm to say "And if this doesn't sell you on George Newborn, I don't know what will!" :D

OK, I feel stupid asking this, but Eric Roberts did the voices of Goliath and Spawn, right? I've seen the commercial several times and it sounds like that voice, plus I remember hearing about Eric Roberts somewhere before.

Nope, Keith David did the voices of Goliath and Spawn. Keith David also does the announcing for JL.

Me, I like the voice they cast for Mongul. For some strange reason it just fits. I mean they can't have everyone sound like they're about to hack up a lung. :D

I found it interesting that the previews indicated that not a lot of intergalactic beings know who Superman is. "Our test say he's a Kryptonian? I thought they were extinct." Guess that will all change when Supes starts kicking ass and taking names in the arena.

Personally I'm so looking forward to War World. *sigh* Just another week. *sigh*

You know I will give to Bruce Timm my first child if either Lobo shows up at some point in "War World" or if during the big fight that we know is coming in part 2 between Supes and Mongul we get some sort of dialog like this:

M: Come now Kryptonian. I know you can give me a better fight than this. Give me your all!
S: You're not worth it.
M: And who is?
S: *lists off some names*
M: Never heard of them.
S: And Darkseid.
M: D...Darkseid?! :eek: You lived to walk away from a fight with Darkseid? Just who are you?
S: Kal-El. But the people call me Superman.
M: Sup...Superman?! The one who bested Darkseid?!
S: Afraid so. *followed by Superman ending the fight with a single punch*


Not that either of those would happen but man would I be one happy fanboy if they did. :rolleyes:

I just watched the clip 3 times. So in the first fight Supes takes on Dragga. Im think Jonn might fight Mongul first im hoping. i know Superman is strong but i wanna see Jonn stregnth also.

Ever considered writing something for the show? I hope the writers come up with something even remotely close to this.
