Golden Zelda DS Lite to be released

Looks pretty awesome. Of course, it comes out Black Friday, so good luck finding one. It strikes as one of those limited time only handhelds that will wind up selling for hundreds on eBay in two years.

This is going to be mass produced, it'll be as rare as say the NES GBA SP. Slightly more rare than normal DS lites. I actually got to see it and it looks very nice just like the Zelda GBA SP.

Man that's really tempting... but I already got a DS Lite ^^;; I don't want to spend money on a system I already got... and I made it a point to never trade-in gifts (like my DS).

Altough if I had Pokémon Diamond as well as my Pearl I could trade with myself mwuahahaha...

Personally, I'm sick of this crap. The N64 did it, the GBA SP did it TWICE! and now this! whenever I buy a system several months later they come out with this cool color or theme to it, or they bundle it with a game I already have, but you can't get it seperatly. that is so annoying. And I can't exchange the system I already own for store credit or cash, cause it wouldn't be enough to buy a brand new system or a bundle. why do they have to screw the people who already bought their products like this?

Its just a different color, its not screwing over anyone. Don't buy it, if they released it with Phantom Hourglass with an extra level then that would indeed be screwing people over. Consoles especially handhelds have been getting different colors and special editions all the time.

Dude. Calm down. Seriously. This won't do ANYTHING the DS you already have doesn't do except be slightly beigish and have a triforce on it. If that's worth 100+ bones to you, then pay it. If it's NOT worth it to you, then don't pay it and be happy with what you have. Those are your choices. I hardly think a PURELY cosmetic change like a new color scheme qualifies as "screwing" anyone.

Personally, I've got a black DS Lite with a bright green, decidedly non-matching Nerf case on it. It's fugly as hell, but I love it, because the green part is squishy and makes it big enough for my giant man-hands, and the black part plays DS games, and the DS has some great games. That's what video game systems are for, remember? Playing games. Not looking nice on your shelf or in your pocket or wherever else you decide to stick it. Playing games.

I've seen the bundle,and while I think the "Triforce" Ds looks cool,and I don't have Phantom Hourglass yet,I'm not buying it,since I already own a DS....I'm happy with the DS I have,which is white,but I have a pink cover over it...

I bought the limited edition gold Triforce Nintendo DS Lite package with The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Yay! This is my first DS, so it was a no-brainer. It's sexy as hell.

I also picked up New Super Mario Bros., and Mario Kart DS. It's time to make some DS Friends.
