Hi everybody!
Next week I've got a date with a hot girl! Does anyone has a good movie tip for me? It would be nice if it is a hot movie (if you know what I mean), but not too obvious...;) She has to like it too!
Hope someone can help!

Porn aside?
Something comedic, but with action. No romantic comedies or dramas.

let her decide or pick out about three and let her make the decision
if that doesn't suit you, "the princess bride" is always good

I've always found romantic comedies to be one of the best ways to go, unless the girl is a tomboy-ish type who doesn't like them. (I knew a girl in high school who's preferred date movie of choice was Under Siege 2. Haha!!)
Anyway, you can always just ask her what kind of movies she likes (genre-wise), then, like Falcon said, pick a few and let her choose the one to watch.

Well, I said that so as to make it more comfortable. The romantic movie automatically means you might be hinting at something, to me.

Well, I don't know about that. Most romantic comedies aren't really about the sex anyway. I figure they mostly just cover equal ground. You've got something that's kinda romantic for the girl to enjoy, while not being a full-on romance drama of the Jane Austin variety that could bore the guy, who can enjoy the comedy aspects.
So the best thing to do is probably just find out what she likes beforehand and go from there. :)

There's nothing wrong with making your intentions known IMO. But yes, your best bet is just to let her pick.
The first time I ever saw any action with a lady friend was directly after watching lions maul people for an hour and a half in "Ghost and the Darkness," (her choice) which just goes to show that you never can tell what might have the desired effect. (-: (Actually I think it was more a case of, "If we just go at it straight away, this will feel too much like a booty call, so let's watch a movie first so that it will feel more like a date." We probably could've watched I Love Lucy reruns and it wouldn't have made a difference. Longest 90 minutes of my life... but worth it!)

I remember taking a girl to see Happy Feet, thought she'd like it. When we came out, yeah, she didn't understand it. I mean IT'S A ******* MOVIE ABOUT PENGUINS AND THEM BEING CUTE!!!!!!!!!!! Aren't girls supposed to like that?

I thought that the 'guins in that movie were just too effin cute for words. My best friend is a girl, and she loves penguins, so maybe its rubbed off one me ;). As for your date, did she specify what she didn't like about the movie? Maybe "cute" wasn't really her thing.

Kind of, I don't talk to her anymore since she doens't go to my school, but she thought the plot didn't flow and was too garbled to comprehend (considering the fact she likes the "PotC" movies)

It really all depends on the girl. For instance, I took my girlfriend on a first date to see the Aqua Teen movie (a movie she wanted to see) and we've been steady ever since.

One of my first date movies was Mortal Kombat Annihilation when it premiered in theatres. We were both MK fans and had a hilarious time making fun of it.
Really its safer to let the girl choose, but I've known some who will want to see an action-heavy flick because they think the lead actor is hot (ex. Vin Diesel for Riddick). And Johnny Depp's worked pretty well for making PotC a date flick.

Star Wars. Episode 2. And laugh through the entire thing. Continuously say how dead on and clever everything is. That'll work.
Seriously, try a romantic comedy or even a Pixar film.

Make sure to quote the good parts along with the movie. Girls LOVE that.

Care to explain why?
He thinks the movie is perfect for everything. Don't bother getting reasonable explanations out of him.
