The byes are over as move into the 11th week of National Football League action. All teams will be on the field until the playoffs weed out all but 12. No team has officially clinched a playoff spot as of yet, but the New England Patriots seem to on their way as they take their undefeated record into Buffalo. The Colts have lost their last two games and are now even with the Steelers at 7-2, who are on a three-game win streak. The top teams in the NFC are doing better than both of them with the Cowboys and the Packers having lost only one game each.

As teams try to hold onto their division lead or take it (or maybe just try something new), we will see many changes and returns at quarterback this week. Rookie John Beck is going in for the 0-9 Dolphins and second-year QB Brodie Croyle will make his first NFL start for the Chiefs as they try to make the playoffs. Plus JaMarcus Russell may see some action for the Raiders. Chicago and Baltimore will see some old young faces as Rex Grossman and Kyle Boller go in for the injured veterans that took their jobs. We will also see the Jaguars' David Garrard and the Texans' Matt Schaub returning from injuries.

It will be a short turnaround as always for Dallas and Detriot next week as they will respectively take on NY Jets and Green Bay on Thanksgiving. Also scheduled to be affected this year are Indianapolis and Atlanta, which kicks off NFL Network's Thursday Night Football.

The early scores are in, and once again we see the upset bug at work: this time in Houston. The Texans have finally gotten healthy again, and things are looking up as they hold on for the win. Meanwhile the Browns and the Ravens had an unexpected shootout. Here's the results:

Boy, the ending of the Cleavland/Ravens game was rather interesting. Glad to see them go down to the Browns though. Too bad the Steelers are still leading the division though.

I'm glad to see the Refs got the call with the Browns FG right.

Man, how great was it to start with the Colts-Chiefs game? You got that game, the end of the Jacksonville-San Diego game, then end of the Minnesota-Oakland game (Go Vikings!) and then parts of the Baltimore-Cleveland game. It got a little annoying when the NFL rules forced use to watch JB and the crew watching the game, but we still got all the big moments. That final Raven drive was a big one for Kyle Boller, but then it all went away with some odd play-calling right before the field goal and serving it up to Cleveland's big returner led to that very odd field goal and then an OT loss.

See people? When McNair is out, the offense gets going. The first half was rough, but once Boller was getting protection he stepped up and made plays. There is absolutely no chance the bum McNair could have brought us back from that 27-14 score going into the fourth quarter. McGahee also had a couple breakout runs, I really thought we were going to win this one as it seemed everything(except of course the turnover disease) was going right. The Browns got extremely lucky and should feel fortunate that they got a huge break with that field goal bouncing on the right part of the post. That will never happen again as long as there is an NFL.

But I liked what I saw today from the Ravens, though the defense could've held up instead of folding at the end when we needed them. Next week we're traveling to San Diego, and I expect the Ravens to blow the Chargers out. Our playoff hopes are one loss from being crushed(if they're not crushed already, 0-5 in the division isn't gonna help when tyring for the Wild Card)) but I don't expect the Ravens to let up on the intensity and we're simply a better team then SD.

The Dallas/ Washington game was a lot closer than I thought it should be. The afternoon games have all been close. Luckily the Cowboys D came up with an interception while the Redskins were threatening, and then Owens, who had four touchdowns in the game, bats the ball away to end the game.

Better team than SD? I dunno. I know they played better with Kyle "I shoulda been a bowler" Boller, but their offense was still rather bleh. The Chargers are 4-1 at home and 1-4 on the road this year, I don't see them getting blown out by any means.

As far as the FG, that was awesome. I was watching it as it happened on CBS through clips shown by Dan, Bill, and all them since technically they couldn't show the entire last part of the game. Either way, was a good week this week.

One game that surprised me was the Cards holding strong and the Jets beating the Steelers. I've been saying the Steelers were frauds.

I was shocked at that FG during the Browns-Ravens game. I was all ready to turn off the tv when I heard the announcer say the players weren't leaving the field. I'm glad we won. And Pittsburgh lost! ;)

So what does everyone think of Joshua Cribbs, the Browns kick-returner?

Well, another week, another Patriots shellacking. This time, the Bills (who came in pretty hot themselves) are the ones getting torched by Brady's Bunch. Game just went to half with New England ahead 35-7.

Have yuo seen the rest of the Bills schedule? With the way most teams are 6-4 or 5-5 in the AFC, the ills won't be eliminated from the wild card race with this one loss.

That wasn't that hard for the Cards to stay in the game. This is the first time in awhile where I can honestly say the Offense cost us the game, and not the defense. Between dropped passes, fumbles, and Carson playing like garbage, it doesn't surprise me the Cardinals won.

What i loved about the Steelers losing is that everyone had them pegged as the number 2 team in the NFL. They beat the Browns and everyone rushed to say "oh wait what about Big Ben". Pffff so much for that eh, Pitts three loses all to losing teams all while the real contenders (my Cowboys) and Packers take care of busniess. Id say the AFC right now is a one team conference. The Colt are just wiped out from injuries and Manning doesnt know how to play with a CFL recieving corps like Brady has done the last 6 years.

Next week we're traveling to San Diego, and I expect the Ravens to blow the Chargers out
Oh yeah we all expect a team thats 22nd in the league on offense, 21st in passing and 22nd in receiving and has a QB with 3 passing TD to blow out a team. Right........

The Patriots are this close to making the 2007 season uncompetitive. Last night's game felt like a Top 10 college football program running it up on a "directional school" early in the college football season.

Both Owens and Moss had 4 TD catches. Nice.

Pats are 10-0, no surprise there.

Cowboys and Packers, 9-1. It's really going to come down to Week 13.

That sure was wild.

So, is there a name for that part of the Goal Post?

So, is there a name for that part of the Goal Post?how about the "billick bar"? he seemed really miffed about it, but felt uneasy about arguing the ref's decision cause it was actually a good field goal. if i was billick, i would be completely adamant that the ref's reviewed it even when they weren't supposed to (after the 2 minute warning)

The officials can review it if the review booth buzzes them to, but from what they were saying on the morning shows today the head official was the one who overturned the call without looking at the review.

There wouldn't be anything satisfying about stealing a victory from the Browns when they marched down the field right when they needed to.

Right........I didn't say we all expect, I said I did. And remember, if Boller had been starting every game this year, the numbers would be much higher in offense. As it stands, we beat the Chargers last year, and have the best rush D in the league, which will contain LT like it did last time.

Cribbs is great. Last year, he seemed like our sole bright spot. And I was so soured on Frye, that I was saying why not put Cribbs in, he couldn't be any worse.

Welcome to the world of Billick.

Honeslty, that break at the end of the game cheated the defense. I believe that whoever won the coin toss in overtime would win the game, meaning that if the Ravens won the toss, they would've won the game. It's much harder for the defense to come back on the field after a break like that and play well.

As it stands, we beat the Chargers last year, and have the best rush D in the league, which will contain LT like it did last time. Thur five games last year Romo had 13 td passes. Basically what im saying is Boller aint gonna be blowing any teams out cause if he could he would of been starting since the beginning of the year. Yeah the Ravens have the best rush D in the league but thats cause everyone just throws on them. They held Willie Parkers to 35 yards when they played Pitt, but let Big Ben throw 5 td passes. Yeah u beat the Chargers last year, but by a FG and last year Mcnair didnt play like he was a 60 year old QB and Boller just doesnt have IT to play in this league. I expect a ugly game, and the team that does the least mistakes will come out on top.

People are coming up for a nick name for the pats offense. Look like no one can stop it. I don`t care what anyone say, running up the scoreboard is poor sportmen ship. One of these days someone will put them in their place. Sadly that won`t happend anytime soon. I don`t know how in the world the steelers keep loseing these trap games but if they play that badly on the road? Then they won`t stand a chance againt the pats.
