"Time Crash"
Written by Steven Moffat

It's trouble in the TARDIS when the Doctor encounters an unexpected guest- his own fifth incarnation.

I enjoyed. This is essentially a love letter from the new show to the old. I was a bit worried it was going to end with Five never realising who Ten was but thankfully it didn't. The last few minutes with Ten telling Five about how the Doctor has grown and matured...classic. We even got another funny dig at the fans ;)
On placement, I expected this to be set during TRB and season 3. To set it in the narrow gap between Martha leaving and the Titanic crashing was clever.

I like the idea of the TARDIS having desktop themes. :D Ten's speech to Five was great; I could sense a bit of Tennant's/Moffat's sentiments seeping through, especially the 'you were my Doctor' bit. Oh, for a full scale Ten/Five adventure. That could have been fun. But, as it is, this was still great.

Same on all points. Very happy with how they played it. Loved the dig at the Master with his new "beard". Never a moment lost in New Who with the gay gags.
Nice jab at fan whines about the screwdriver and I loved the final farewell. Nice idea making the crash an event created from trying to rebuild the TARDIS from the Time Paradox.

They really covered all the bases with this one. The Tenth Doctor explaining the Fifth Doctor's appearance due to the time differential, explaining the evolution of his character's temperament from the very first incarnation, and the deliciously simple yet agonizingly perplexing solution to the collision problem.
The dialogue was a mile a minute. (Or do you use kilometers in Britain?) "Not a lot of men can carry off a decorative vegetable." "What skin is this? Coral?! It's worse than the Leopard Skin!" "Two minutes to Belgium!" "I'm very welcome."
And that high-five attempt. What a delightful episode.
The face Tennant makes when he sees the back of his head was so awesome I had to cap it...

It was truly wonderful! Loved it!
I would really really enjoy to see a full episode with this pair!
Ah decorative vegetable XD who thought of THAT costume?! Thankfully our current Doctor sticks out of a crowd thanks to his personality rather than costume hehehehe.
This isn't the first time the Doctor met himself, so he probably got to look at the back of his head more than once :p

It's really nice to see all the positive reactions from people in this thread :) Over at OG, there's been alot of folks who don't like it for a number of reasons. I think they were expecting too much. It's an 8 minute semi-charity themed bonus episode. I thought it was wonderfully done, both for the night, as an episode and as a statment from the fans on the production team.
"To days to come"
"All my love to long ago"

There's no reason why he shouldn't. A group of people in the 21 Century who were looking to track him down and asking question. No reason why he couldn't have heard about them - even if its just a throwaway gag.
Nice way to join old and New Who together. Before its always been about old Who showcasing in new Who, now we have an implication that a group set up in New Who was known to the Doctor in the Old one.

Yeah but L.I.N.D.A. was pretty ineffectual before that monster showed up XD they mostly met and have fun. And then they concentrated their research on Rose!

We only got to see them briefly and we know before Elton joined them they knew about regeneration very vaguely. It's possible they could have been around for years but the interest had waned when we see them, much like the Abzorbaloff comments. Don't forget we also had characters like Clive (the Doctor obsessive) in the first episode.

Problem with that theory is that Elton gave them the 'L.I.N.D.A. acronym. They weren't even a real group until then ^^;;
Man I wish they hadn't killed them off...they were sympathetic characters that deserved better ><

Listen, the 5th Doctor's knowledge of L.I.N.D.A. can be satisfactorily explained by a simple, straightforward justification...timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly!

"What?" "What?" "What?!"
"What Have You done to my Tardis? YOU Changed the desktop theme, haven't You? What's this one? Coral? It's worse than the leopard skin!"
"Two minutes to Belgium!" :ack:
It was the best 7 minutes of CIN I've seen on the telly after the first one (David's Doctor Intro to Rose) two years back!:anime:

Timey-wimey-wibbly-wobbly only applies to logic defying time paradox :p and this isn't a paradox.

You're also saying it wrong. It's "weebly-wobbly-timey-wimey," not the other way around.
I actually enjoyed seeing L.I.N.D.A. deteriorate. I had nothing against them, but still, it was deliciously cruel.

Awesome. As I don't live in the UK, I saw this through... other means, but it was great. I've always loved Multi-Doctor episodes, and this one ranks high.
And lol at the TARDIS 'desktop themes.'
