Yes, it must have taken a lot of patience to paint about a thousand giant ants. Was this something you worked on "on the side"? You just showed us the house/water painting, and I don't think this could be done in two days.

I started this right after the picture with the houses. A lot of the ants were painted over from photos, then duplicated.

When someone has as much professional and technical understanding of their style as EX does, I don't think two days seems impossible. I can see a couple of potential shortcuts he's made in there - and I think the fact he can work fast and still produce fantastic end products is a testament to be applauded... not questioned.

We also need to suck out his creative techniques with a straw. ;)
