I've never seen the laserdiscs, so I was wondering, are the prints of the cartoons on laserdisc better than the "dubbed versions" CN shows?

What elements did they use to make the discs.

I don't plan on ever getting any laserdiscs, BTW, I'm just curious.

Actually, they're the prints used to create the 'dubbed' versions. They're just the old tv prints that had been played for years just put on laserdisc. I have a laserdisc print of "Bugs Bunny Nips The Nips" and it is of the same quality as the print that was released on the video version of the GAOLT series...

I personally don't care for the 'dubbed' prints CN is running. The fade outs are done too abruptly and the end title cards are all wrong... :(

The fifth volume of the GAOLT series used "dubbed versions" on most of the cartoons.
