Some say that post Tarzan, Disney's stuff somewhat took a nosedive. I personally enjoyed most of the flicks that were released 2000 and after, and hopefully the new Princess/Frog one will recapture it. Most people are into Lilo and Stitch, but I liked Treasure Planet as well.

Lilo and Stich, by a grand landslide. It's a wonderful movie.
And wasn't Fastasia 2000 technically made in 1999?

I liked a lot of those movies.
The Emperors New Groove: Hilarious, one of my favorite Disney movies.
Atlantis: Watched it a couple months ago for the first time in a while, and liked it a lot. It took a while for the story to get rolling, but once it did, it became really enjoyable. Unfortunately it missed its core audience, and if it wasn't dissed so bad by critics, it would have been a cult hit for sure.
Lilo and Stitch: Love this movie. Touching, funny, great story- All the elements of a great movie were there, and hit right on the money.
Treasure Planet: Haven't seen this one since it was in theaters, but I remember liking it. I'll record the next showing on Toon Disney and post again when I do.
Brother Bear: VERY heart-wrenching, the story was pretty good, overall a good movie, but not as good as the others listed.
Home on the Range: Didn't see it, but I had no desire. It was supposed to be horrible, unfortunate for Disney's last theater animation for at least 5 years.
Fantasia 2000: I remember my elementary music teacher using this as an aid in the class. It was fun, but not really like most Disney movies. It's hard to compare it to other Disney movies, it was so... different.
If I had to choose one, Lilo and Stitch, no question. Awesome movie.

I said Fantasia 2000 because all the other ones did not appeal to me or I haven't seen them in forever.
I enjoyed most of Disney's post-Tarzan movies, but if I had to pick one,it'd be The Emperor's New Groove.....I've seen it many times, yet it never fails to make me laugh (I love any scene with Kronk and his shoulder angel and devil)...I also liked....
Lilo and Stitch....a very funny, yet touching movie....I love the scenes with Jumba and Pleakley....
Brother Bear....I love the songs, and the way the story ended...I'm still a little dissapointed that it didn't win the Oscar that it was nominated for....
Atlantis: The Lost Empire....Has a very interesting animation style,it had some decent humor, and it's different from most other Disney animated features in that there are no songs (except the one over the end credits)...

This one is kind of hard because five of those are great and worth watching hundreds of times so here is how I would rate them.
Humor: Emperors New Groove
Visual Effects: Treasure Planet
Drama and art: Brother Bear (the scene where Kenai tells Koda what happened to his mom was wonderfully done)
Fun: Lilo and Stitch
And Fantasia 2000 for introducing me to George Gershwin.

Well, no question, Emperor's New Groove hands down. While everyone keeps bashing this film, I thought it was a hillarious departure. Also, I feel it was completely underrated, and thrown to the side while the real trash flick, 102 Dalmations got all the credit.
I also loved Lilo and Stitch. I think it has a weirdness factor even higher than ENG had. Plus, the celeb voices were a bare minimum, and they worked perfectly together.
I want to add my true favorite that wasn't listed, Teacher's Pet, the Movie. I finally got the DVD after years of searching. This was a truely memorable film, hillarious, off beat, and one great way to end a series. I really wish they gave this movie more credit, but it could have been worse. It could have been DTV. At least it was in theaters for 2 weeks in January when it premired.
As for the others... I enjoyed Borther Bear, and they did Native American legend in that film leaps and bounds better than in Pochahauntus. Plus the fact the "MacKenzie brothers" played Canadian Moose really perked the film up for me.
I saw Home on the Range, and I was confused. I couldn't decide if I liked it or hated it. It was weird, but not in a good way. I guess they were trying to get the feel of the 1950's-60's tall tale ballads cartoons. I give them credit for that. And for having a creative plot. And for giving Dreamworks a tremendous burn for the first and only time (The Rosanne cow called the horse "Spirit of the Cim-moron")
Treasure Planet I avoided as best as I could. Looked and sounded terrible. Disney had a better Treasure Island film years before, with Muppet Treasure Island.
And I enjoyed Atlantis. Not a favorite, but I really liked it. Especially Don Novello's character. "Well, as far as me goes? I just like to blow things up!"

Also, I feel it was completely underrated, and thrown to the side while the real trash flick, 102 Dalmations got all the credit. That'd be my choice too. Funniest Disney film since Aladdin- possibly even funnier. In many ways it really felt anti-Disney in its tone, which is why it was so great.
Oddly, I haven't seen too many of the year 2000+ Disney films, so perhaps I'm unqualified to answer. Never seen Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Home on the Range, Lilo & Stitch, and I've only seen parts of Fantasia 2000 (which, from what I've seen, was pretty good).
I actually saw Brother Bear only a couple months ago and it was OK. Wouldn't go out of my way to buy it, though.

I'd say I like these films more than the ones post-Aladdin.
The Emperor's New Groove I voted as my favorite in the bunch. It was unexpectedly good and I still enjoy it on repeat viewings.
Atlantis I didn't quite enjoy because I was expecting something else. I don't remember what because it was some time ago, but I have revisited the film since and I enjoy it. The music is the best part in my opinion.
Treasure Planet I really liked and I thought it was a clever adaptation of Treasure Island. I also like the visual mix of 2D and 3D animation, especially with the historical/period design mixed with sci-fi.
Lilo & Stitch - Fun movie and strange too. Love the watercolors and who knew Elvis songs would work so well with a menacing alien in a Disney movie. Probably my next fave after Emperor's New Groove.
Brother Bear is my least favorite in the list. It was okay. The story was fine and the backgrounds were pretty, but something about it didn't quite make me love it. The music I definitely did not love.
Home on the Range I like. There's a lot of slapstick that reminds me of Looney Tunes and the trio of Roseanne Barr, Jennifer Tilly, and Dame Judi Dench is an odd, but a great combination. And Alan Menken can still write pretty tunes. "Will the Sun Ever Shine Again?" in particular is very sad and moving.
Fantasia 2000 I kinda like more than the original, which had parts I could fall asleep through. Favorites are "Rhapsody in Blue," "Shostakovich Piano Concerto - The Tin Soldier," "Pomp and Circumstance - Donald Duck," and the "The Firebird Suite."

The Emperor's New Groove wins hands down. It was revolutionary for Disney to have come up with such a good animated movie, when Pixar was invading everything. And I can watch it a million times and it will always bring a smile on my face.

The Emperor's New Groove. It was just all around great. Great humor, and very memorable.
Atlantis was alright, but not as good.
Emperor's New Groove.
Likable cast (even though the majority of it was corrupt), great Tom Jones number at the beginning, and just good humor all around.

My least favorite though is not on the list. That horrendously borring Dinosaurs movie. man, I snuck into that one after Viva Rock Vegas, and I still wanted my money back.
And trust me, coming from someone who liked Viva Rock Vegas, it would have to be a very bad film for me to call it bad.

Emperor's New Groove is probably the funniest Disney movie ever, so it wins here.
I would say Disney's troubles began with Tarzan, which I found very formulaic and dull. That's probably why Disney decided to go with the completely off the wall Groove next.

Basically after Tarzan they decided to just go nuts and create original abstract movies in an avant garde type of way. Then when they didn't sell, they just dropped them off the map.

Well, even before Tarzan, Disney was branded as princess movie entertainment. They really tried to get away from that for a while, but kept falling into it accidentally. Look at the romantic bits of Hercules, which I didn't care too much for. Tarzan seemed like the only film that Disney shouldn't have put talking animals in. They stole the show, and not in a good way. It really disappointed me. And with a cartoon series, and 2 sequals (though one was bits of the series stuck together) they really didn;t go too far in the Tarzan legend. Beautiful animation, though.

The Emperor's New Groove is the only movie on the list that I enjoy without any reservations. (Hilarious. Screw-ball comedy that makes only a token effort of taking itself seriously.) Treasure Planet had nice moments, as well as moments I just fast-forward through. Fatasia 2000...Its okay and all, but I just don't think of it as a stand-alone movie. The rest I either didn't like, or wasn't even interested in seeing at all.

Lilo and Stitch is such a rare gem. It had an extremely moving story led by extremely moving characters (I still stop breathing when Lilo says, "People treat me different."). It is so relatable and is made with such quality. On top of everything else it is fun, lots and lots of fun. Lilo and Stitch is hands down the best film of this decade.
Fantasia 2000 was released in 1999 (barely), so does it count? Anyways that is my second choice. I mean Eric Goldberg with a vengence. Rhapsody in Blue and Carnival of the Animals are among Disney's best work. The film also features The Sorcerer's Apprentice, which is the best piece of animation ever.
The Emperor's New Groove deserves mention as well for utilizing contemperary humor in a unique way with an excellent voice cast.
Treasure Planet is also worth viewing once or twice.

For me, it's Brother Bear hands down. It was one of the few Disney movies that I actually saw in theatres. I loved the story, the struggle that Keni had to go through to realize his mistakes, the art was beautiful and I loved the music. This movie has one of Disney's best soundtracks. In fact, this is one of my favorite Disney movies of all time.
Lilo and Stitch: A great movie and I did enjoy seeing it in theatres. I loved how Lilo was trying to make Stitch behavior with Elivs music. That was so cute and funny. I did really enjoy the sense of family within this movie.
The Emperor's New Groove was a really funny movie. It captured the right amount of humor and combined it with a talented voice cast. It is a really good movie to watch for a good few laughs. Kuzco's transformation from being a jerk to being a nicer person was done pretty well. The fact that the show made that transformation non-existent always bothers me, but that's just me.
Treasure Planet: Another good movie to watch. I thought that it was a unique way to tell the classic story. The technology was interesting and the music was, yet again, wonderful. I do prefer the Muppets' Treasure Island version, but that's mainly to do with how I'm a sucker for Muppet movies anyway. Still, I definately enjoyed the movie.
Atlantis: The Lost Empire: Another enjoyable movie. It seemed much more serious than most of Disney's movies. I did find the voice cast to be quite talented and I loved how the story did end happily for Milo and all his friends.
As for Home on the Range and Fantasia 2000, I haven't seen Home on the Range yet. I do recall watching Fantasia 2000 before, but I don't really remember too much of it.
