When you say "should", are you talking about what will actually happen in reality, or what would happen under ideal circumstances? If it's the former, then I already know how it's going to be edited - exactly as it was edited on Toonami. No way in hell they'll spend the money to re-edit it. If it's the latter - well, of course the ideal is usually "uncut, subbed" (except in the case of Cowboy Bebop, in which case it's "uncut, dubbed" ^_^).

in a fantasy world, id like it to be completely uncut. but in reality we probably wont get any farther than it already is.

The best that I forsee is that they do less/ take out language edits, and replace some of the deleted scenes, a majority of which were just taken out to take up less time, not because of language or "indecent exposure." Uncut-subbed would be nice, but the language in the subbed version is worse than the dubbed version. Of course, this is all in jest, 'cause, as stated by Fata Morgana, CN would never spend more money to re-edit the show.
