I saw a talkback for "Stewie Kills Lois", but not this. As the name suggests, it's a clip show with live action wraparounds.

LOL, Seth always makes me crack up when he does these things. His face is so deadpan, but he says such stupid stuff is what makes it funny.

Wow, Seth REALLY hates Dharma & Greg.
next to Adam West, Seth Green has the coolest voice ever.
The "you have full blown aids" song is the best song ive ever heard on family guy.

You know, a clip show would be a lot more fun if this show wasn't rerun every day on four different channels.
But I still like Shapoopie. I don't care what anyone says.

Same here, same here. I wonder if the "fans" are really actors.

Hey, it's better than Darma and Greg on 4 different channels every night.:D
Also, who did Seth say plays Stewie?

I posted on the first thread, but I just want to say that I've never enjoyed a clip show on any other TV show than this one.

Some notes on said clip show:
1. Okay obviously they're showing more new clips then old clips but at least showing some classic FG as faovite moments means they haven't totally lost site of what was good...somewhat.
2. The musical clip selection was infintly better then what Adultswim.com had as the best musical moments (yeah I know the Aids song and the FCC song were on there but they didn't have "Rhode To Road Island" on it like here).
3. The clips bashing Family guy from the live studio audience are sort of funny. The South Park mention may be the closest FG gets to getting back at "Cartoon Wars" thinking about it. At least on a "we got it on TV" way. Oh and liked ending it with the lady who liked Soap Opreas and the Bachelor. Obviously parodying a fairly ignorant female viewer. Like the women viewer talk on now.

David Hyde Pierce.
LOL This hilarious so far.

But I still like Shapoopie. I don't care what anyone says. Yeah Shipoopi was great. It's such a catchy song. Though arguably it's better on its own and not in the context of the episode, when it basically stalls the plot for two minutes of singing and dancing. People certainly aren't out of line when they complain about it.
I wonder if all those interviews are faked or if they actually interviewed people. Odds are they're faked, but who knows.

The Peter's job montage was hilarious. The quicker the scenes in the montages go by the funnier they are.
interviewer: "where do you see yourself in 5 years"
Peter: (dont say doing your wife, dont say doing your wife, dont say doing your wife), doing your..........Son?
Priceless
Seth Green: hopefully we wont get canceled for another 2 1/2 ****ing years. XD

I like that cutaway with the sand people and Obi Wan. "We'll have a richer harmony." "Oh yeah, no, it's gonna sound fantastic." gets me every time.
LOL at the bleeped reference to being cancelled.

Quick question because of Seth mentioning the hiatus/cancel period.
How many episodes do you think Family Guy would be at if they didn't get canceled for about 2-3 years?

This has to be the best clip show I ever seen. Good job Seth.

I'm reposting what I said in the other forum.
There ya have it ya'll. The reason they have those pop culture gags.
Now stop whining about it.
Though people usually complain about the cutaways, but they're pretty tied together.
"And hopefully we won't get canceled in two and a half ******** years again."
lol.

That was pretty good. I like what Seth said at the end: "Hopefully we'll be on for another 100 episodes. And not get f****** canceled for 2 1/2 years in the middle of it."
I wonder if Adult Swim would air this?

Adult Swim would air ANYTHING, but im surprised AS dint make something like this yet, they could have done an hour long one only with clips from all of their shows.

This was actually a pretty good clip show. The mix of people who don't supposedley get/like Family Guy and showing some good clips from a mix of the last 100 eps (The Kool AId Guy clips will be important soon. Trust me). So overall pretty good, even though no one there pointed out the real problem of how Family Guy decreased in quality in those 2.5 ****in years not making new episodes. Speaking of that.

Well if the show wasn't given a small thrid season it could of gotten at least 40-45 episodes. So it would of been at 145 or so. Maybe 150 even.

I hate clipshows!! The fans interviews weren't even funny enough to enjoy, because people are really that stupid. It's sad.
Oh and I like Medium. Darma and Greg and it's syndication can burn in hell though.
The clips were funny (at least the ones I haven't seen a hundred times), however the clip show was rather lame. The Seth segments were horrible IMO. The only reason this wasn't a bad clip show was the fact that the random gags were funny..

That was priceless.
This has to be the best clip show I ever seen. Good job Seth.
It doesn't beat The Simpson's 138th Episode Spectacular in my book, but it's close. I've always wondered how this series would handle a clip show, as it's already in a "clip" format.
Very clever putting on people who either hate or don't understand the show; with all the other programs Seth mentioned, you realize FG and its fans are really in an incomprehensible class unto themselves. They could have put my parents on there as well; they'd never get this show but they love Dancing with the Stars.
And add me to the list of people who like "Shipoopi," I was even defending it the night it aired. Usually when I reach for Volume 4 again, it's just to play this number.

I will say, seeing the nonfans talk about it was pretty painful to watch. I didn't find it that funny after the fifth time, but it was a pretty funny little clip show, from what I've seen (I missed a lot of it, but taped it).

Add me in too, I loved that song even from the musicle it came from, Music Man. I was so happy to hear that song when they played it.

I still love stewie's reaction during the breast feeding scene, one of the best reaction shots in all animation IMO.

A little light on the clips. I think I enjoyed the interview segments the most. The David Hyde Pierce thing and the girl who said she liked Meg really made me laugh. Seth was funny at times, too.
Seth Green: hopefully we wont get canceled for another 2 1/2 ****ing years. XD
MacFarlane, not Green.

That one girl who looked sorta liked Julia Louise-Dreyfus...I thought she was kinda hot.
This was definitely one of the better clip shows I've seen from anything, and he did it properly- he made it funny.
But I love Cold Case- it's one of my all time favorite shows. Family Guy, however...no.

The format for this clip show was pretty original, and I liked the thing with Seth at the end, but the clips themselves bored me, and I think it's mainly due to me seeing them so many times already due to reruns and now syndication. Okay show, I guess, but not one I'll rewatch.

Well, I think the reason no one made a talkback thread for this before was because this was talked about quite a bit on the other thread. In all honesty, I didn't find it too interesting anyway. I talked about this on the other thread, so I won't repeat all of what I said here. But I just want to mention that.
