PREVIEW FOR THURSDAY’S “iMPACT!” BROADCAST ON SPIKE TV
Semifinals in the Fight For The Right, plus The LAX get their title shot!
By Bill Banks

This Thursday night, TNA Wrestling “iMPACT!” returns to SpikeTV at 9pm for two hours of Total Nonstop Action! The below is a preview of what you can expect on the broadcast:

- The Latin American Xchange of Hernandez and Homicide will get their TNA World Tag Team Championship shot against AJ Styles and Tomko this Thursday on SpikeTV! The LAX earned the match by winning the Ultimate X bout at Bound For Glory. Can Homicide and Hernandez continue their winning streak and regain the gold this Thursday against the new champs?

- In the first “Fight For The Right” tournament semifinal match, it will be "The Instant Classic" Christian Cage facing an opponent to be announced on Thursday night.

- In the second tournament semifinal scheduled for Thursday night, “Cowboy” James Storm will take on Kaz!

The winner of the “Fight For The Right” tournament will earn a shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

Also this Thursday night will be the fallout from the controversy from the World Heavyweight Championship match between Kurt Angle and Sting! Angle is the new titleholder, but both Kevin Nash and Sting want revenge on the Olympic gold medalist.

Plus, rumors are running rampant that Nash somehow already knows the identity of Sting’s partner at the “Genesis” Pay-Per-View! How does Nash know – and will he reveal who that person is? How will Sting react? Tune in this Thursday night on “iMPACT!” to find out!

All this and much more this Thursday night on “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV at 9pm, including TNA World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Tomko, X Division Champion “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal, The Latin American Xchange, Team 3D, Abyss, Rhino, the TNA Knockout Women’s Division and so much more!

Some week I am gonna have to find the total time that those little segments dealing with the “main story” are. I bet it takes up at least a quarter of the show.

I was pumped to see Kaz beat James Storm. I don’t expect he will win by the end, but I am happy to see Kazarian going this far.

It was great to see Team 3D tricked and the beat on by the Motor City Machine Guns and the rest of the X Division. When the bully realizes he doesn’t hold all the cards, he usually backs off.

So Jimmy doesn’t like Christy or something? I’m actually a little bit interested. Rave and Hoyt seem to get along fine. The girl is not usually the odd one out.

Awesome Kong streak of beating the crap out of people continues with Christy. Kong is impressive in the ring no doubt, but I just can’t find these matches very interesting.

Ohmygod, TNA has the worst backstage reporters ever!! They always find out the scoop and then refuse to tell the audience. Borash did the same thing a month or two ago. What kind of ‘journalists’ are these people?!

So we’ve had Black Reign since Dustin Rhodes went nuts and all of a sudden Dustin shows up again and gets attacked by Abyss? Then later in the show Black Reign shows up all angry that Abyss showed up without him being there?! What sense did any of that make?!

Joe and Roode really went after each other after their mixed tag match was over! Could this make Robert Roode more interesting than his picking on Traci Brooks does? Well, anything’s possible. :D

Chris Harris made a suitable replacement for Fatu, MIA for ‘mysterious unknown reasons.’ The way TNA went about that was about as bad as WCW slapping the Cruiserweight Title on a different wrestler and saying it happened “over the weekend.” Cage won the match regardless, so no surprises in this one.

Styles and Tomko are really making it as a tag team. Christian’s cronies pulled it out as they establish themselves as the team to beat in TNA. Good match.

The saga of Kurt Angle interrogating everyone about who Sting’s partner could be certainly had its moments. The best one was Jay Lethal, followed by JB getting beat up by the two ladies and Kurt thinking he said Powers of Pain. Was Angle hitting on Kip James?

Kevin Nash figured it out just like he said he would, but I don’t think it was quite the answer he was expecting. With all the talent TNA has they bring in Scott Hall?! Well at least it’s not Pacman Jones.

The impending Outsiders reunion is somehow even more obvious than the return of Chris Jericho.

James Storm calls his Superkick the "Last Call" now? JBL should sue him for gimmick infringement.

I don't think Jericho returning to wrestling is supposed to be a secret. I just heard him on the radio talking about it. He's talking to both WWE and TNA. How sweet would that be, Jericho coming to TNA?
Sucks they stripped Sting of the title so soon.
