I have talked about it before, but I really would like to see some kind of anthology show on Adult Swim, like O Canada but featuring animation from America and other countries. Internet toons would be a good start, but how about student films from the top animation colleges? Or winners of certain animation festivals? There is no place to show case some of these great animated shorts, and Adult Swim would be such a great place to feature them. I don't know what it would take to get this kind of show off the ground, even if it's possible, but I would love to see it.

yeah... that would be cool.. but people could submit it and they approve it or something...

I think a viewer submissions thing would be awesome. I've been working on an animated pilot, round 20 minutes long, for a few months now, and I'm almost finished. What I wouldn't give to be able to submit it. Seems to me like some homebrewed stuff could really inject a lot of life into AS.

Ok, then, I will reply! :D

I think there is a lot of potential out there for home brewed stuff. I've seen some awesome home brewed films on Sci Fi's Exposure (a show, I will embarassingly admit, I do not watch enough. I forget it's on and Sunday night...well AS is on at that time, fer cryin out loud!). There is stuff floating around out there that would put much of the animation on TV to shame. Sure, there is more crap than great stuff, but I think if Exposure can do it, so could AS.

I agree. An anthology show would really break up the mid-season monotony. Whatever happened to O Canada BTW? I loved that show!
