I'll believe that Samurai Jack is a Cartoon Cartoon when...
1) The CCF Announcer proudly proclaims: "Next Friday on CCF...Samurai Jack is hosting!"
2) He gets his own Cartoon Cartoon intro. (Nothing elaborate, just have him leap in front of the CCF logo, then have him do his sword-slashing act--"Slash, slash, Fridays!")
3) "Jack" gets a CCF "Midnight Run."
Anybody care to add to this?
"I am more than a Cartoon Cartoon...I am an original!"
(And I hope I'm not a CCF "Temp!")

They already advertise Jack episodes as the highlights (aka "And be sure to tune into Samurai Jack! Samurai Jack in outer space! Whoa! And then there's a new episode of Ed Edd n Eddy", etc). It just needs a logo to become a Cartoon Cartoon. Not all CCs have a host on CCF, like Sheep(who only hosted once and never again)..

I've never considered Samurai Jack a CC either, simply because its so different than the rest. I've always thought that CC's werer mainly comedic shorts, but Samurai Jack is a half hour long show that isn't soley comedy. Just because it airs on Cartoon Network doesn't make it CC, otherwise you'd have to consider Justice League a CC as well.

Hmm... I never figured SJ fitting into the Cartoon Cartoon vibe... much too quiet and all. Not that it wouldn't be amusing as all heck to see what they could do with it... I'm still waiting for the characters to show up in one of those "Cartoon Network- Inside the Offices" commercials... Preferably with Aku demanding a proper mochachino from the set crew or he refuses to go on with the filming... *snicker* That guy just has LIMITLESS possibilities...
P.S. I thought I'd just go ahead and post with my new Avatar, and... rile up the masses a bit... *giggle*
Maybe I would have won the Valentine's Day Avatar contest if I had used this instead....

The day I see Aku say, "Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" is the day I do an Elvis on all my TV's.

SJ may not be a Cartoon Cartoon, but did you ever notice how many CC refs they sneak into the artwork?
Somebody somewhere *must* be making a list.
I don't consider "Samurai Jack" a Cartoon Cartoon because I thought of CCs being reserved more for comedies. Personally, I'd like to see Cartoon Network drop the "Cartoon Cartoons" name altogether and just be "Cartoon Network Original Series," but that won't happen. When I first heard the name, "Cartoon Cartoons," I thought it was a blatant rip-off of Nickelodeon's "Nicktoons" name.

In regard to the name 'Cartoon Cartoons', I recall reading in some interview or other, that the first 'Cartoon' is an adjective, the second a noun. IE: these are 'cartoony' cartoons, as opposed to the 'realistic' kind.

Is Samauri Jack going to be one of the cartoons moving to Adult Swim Action? I know Justice League is, and he has been paired up with that alot.

No. The "Adult Action Swim" starts at 11 (or so the ads said last time I saw one).

Plus, the audience viewing CN at that time wouldn't be interested in seeing SJ and JL when they could easily watch them Friday and Sunday.

And I'll believe Jack's really a CCF when "SJ" makes "The Top 5" on Sunday (which is unlikely).

Well, maybe for a "Villains Take Over"-themed CCF.
