I didn't, because I avoid this series like the plague. It just keeps getting dumber and duller IMO.

I didn't, because I had no idea it was on. When does it repeat?

Too bad. IMO it's one of the best things to come from Disney in YEARS.

I'm afraid I too must say the Replacements is a very bland show. I never can get past the character designs...they just don't look attractive at all. Not to mention the main characters are incredibly over-the-top annoying.

I must agree...I hate this show with a passion. They only reason I support it is because is the last breaths that Disney have of animation before they turn into a braninwashing mindless superficial channel. But I avoid watching this show because it's characters are annoying, the storyline is dumb, and its not exciting at all.

At least people are talking about the show instead of dragging the thread down with their uncalled-for negativity...

I thought "Clueless" was pretty clever. It unfolded like a good mystery and the culprit was a neat surprise. The end gag was pretty funny, too.

"Conrad's Day Off" worked less well, but it was still amusing, mainly in Jacobo's explanation of what Riley was going to suffer through.

I have to admit that I haven't been writing about this show because I don't care for it. I liked their first episode. But since then I've found the pro-social plotting very heavy handed. The kids make a replacement to get their ways, the replacement turns out a bad idea, the kids learn a valuable lesson. I found their handling of the annoying E/I requirement clumsy.

I also don't like the secondary characterizations. They seemed to be preoccupied with political correctness by having the kids friends be an African American, a Latino, and an East Asian. The pc ness stands out for me as I think the African American and the Latino don't have any personality at all. And what of Tasumi? Maybe because anime's popular, they make Tasumi out to be such an exaggerated Japanese stereotype. NOT a racist stereotype, don't get me wrong. But very over the top with that power ranger outfit and fake sounding accent. And little else to her characterization.

OTOH: I do like the character designs. To me, the characters look like they were carved from wood. So they have an earthy, organic look to them. The art and design may not be "Kim Possible" good, but I think this show's better looking than "Yin Yang Yo" or "American Dragon" or "Emperor's New Groove".

And FWIW, Agent K Darling is very nice to look at. :D

Actually, I liked this ep, two shorts that deviated from the "Replacements" formula. The mystery in "Clueless" was fun. I thought the art was especially good for the closeup of a scared Riley in the second short.

I would like to see a full length origin episode. Find out how the $1.98 ad led to the kids being able to replace people forever. Maybe some background of their pre replacement lives and their original last name.
