View Full Version : What's your dream Batman/Superman episode?

In the animated series, we've had plenty of great episodes, but every episode had at least one flaw. I don't think any of us can agree that there ever was a PERFECT Batman/Superman episode. If you would get a chance to make THE Perfect Batman/Superman episode, what would it be like?
What characters would you put in it? How would the characters react to each other? And the most important question, what is the plot/story?
This episode doesn't even have to have villains in it. Sometimes, the great episodes are the ones where it focuses on the main character, and doesn't focus on the "hero has to save the world" kind of story that we still have today.
So, be sure to include the characters in it, and if you want to, how it would end. I'll be back in a few to see your stories, and I hope there's a lot of good ones. :)

Ok, it's a TNBA tale called "Requinted" (that's soo misspelled!)
Basically, Selina recalls her encounter with Amy Mercedes (Gotham Adventures #4) and decides that things between her and Batman either need to take a step forward or backward. Batman fights Two-Face, bent on destroying himself and thanks to Selina's intervention, Harvey manages to survive a nearly fatal explosion. Though he remains in a coma, Bruce is almost positive that his old friend finally conquered the demons that pushed his mind over the edge. Grace returns to watch over her man. Meanwhile, Selina switches to her new black outfit with eye holes, stops dying her hair black (blonde, beautiful blonde!) and she moves in with Bruce determined to leave a life of crime behind, but unable to completely seperate herself from Batman or her Catwoman identity. Batgirl, on the other hand, is pushed away by Selina's presence and runs to Dick for comfort. They get back together :)
You know, whenever I try to write on a story like this, I never enjoy the final product :( I guess I'm not cut out for the writing staff...

I was thinking about it, and since we've already had an ending to the Joker, I think the next best thing would have Two-Face as the villain.
It could be Two-Face's last day as a criminal with all intense fight scenes, and of course, a lot of emotional things added. At the end, the episode could have Harvey's scarred face fixed, and Bruce would be there the whole time, which would make Bruce and Harvey good friends again. It might be corny, but I wold like an end to Two-Face because he's a really good person inside, but he can't control his criminal personality. I think this could be a good episode if it would be done, but it most likely won't be done. :(
Anybody else have their perfect Batman episode? I know there are more of your stories, so please post yours.

Here's my list of dream Batman and Superman episodes.
The Riddler puts Batman through his greatest riddles and challenges both his physical and mental endurance as Andrea Beaumont's life is at stake.
A 3 part Scarecrow story in which he attempts to "cure" Arkham inmates.
In part 1, he could attempt to make Poison Ivy a humanitarian and inadvertently make her an anti-plant activist. She could then attempt to wipe out the rainforests.
In part 2, he could attempt to cure Two Face, but accidentally merge both of his personalities. This could cause him to seek justice, with his good lawyer side, through murder, with his dark twisted side.
In part 3, the Scarecrow could attempt to cure himself, but with dangerous results. He could then proceed to war against Hugo Strange.
Bane badly injures Batman (not break his back though) and Batgirl, Nightwing, and Robin are forced to patrol Gotham on their own. In the midst of this mayhem, Mad Hatter escapes and Bane and Scarface struggle to control the hidden assets of Rupert Thorne.
The Huntress appears with very dangerous crimefighting methods and Batman is pushed to his limits as fights to shut her down.
The Joker and Harley Quinn raid GothCorp and pervert the technology to create a cataclysmic earthquake that all, but completely levels Gotham City.
Braniac and Jax-Ur & Mala both decide to enact revenge on Superman, but they end up wanting to destroy each other more than Superman.
With Metallo dead, Lex Luthor attempts to create an even greater weapon and shoulder, the Cyborg. However, when Cyborg becomes a greater power than Luthor ever imagined, he is forced to team up with his greates foe, Superman.
Superboy is revealed as the head of Team Luthor, a superhero group sponsored by LexCorp. It turns out that Superboy is a clone of Superman that was perfected by Luthor and Dr. Teng, creators of Braniac.
I'll post more when I can think of them.

Heyyy, I like all those ideas...nice to see my namesake popping up in a lot of them, too.
Ages hence, I had proposed a bunch of stories to fiddle with in my spare time. One of which involved the Scarecrow taking over a daycare centre after school one evening which, after scaring the bejesus out of the kids (lots of that), it would delve into his past and his tortured childhood. Batman's childhood would also be revisited. (Just Batman and Scarecrow would be in this. No extra villains, heroic sidekicks, or anything. Maybe the GCPD at best.)
My next one was a Christmas-themed episode where Poison Ivy gets together with Dr. Jason Woodrue for a little...fun. Evil fun. Sick and twisted VENGEFUL fun. I haven't thought it through yet, but a lot could be done here, in the dead of winter.
I also had a Bane episode planned involving drug use, but lo and behold, they beat me to it and wrote THE WINNING EDGE. Bah!
"Stool Pigeon" features the Penguin as the lead villain and how manipulative he is of Gotham's underworld. Catwoman appears as his arch-nemesis because he learns of a heist of hers and notifies the authorities so he can get his goons to pull something off elsewhere in town at the same time.
The only story I HAVE written is a two-part "Face Off" episode in which the Joker escapes from Arkham...again...with Harley's help...again...runs into Grace Lamont, uses her as a hostage once Batman intervenes and, accidentally (but happily) squirts her with his acid flower, melting half of her face off. Two-Face catches wind of this, is allowed to meet her in the hospital, goes nuts, and then goes after the Joker, wanting to put an end to his madness once and for all. He acts as the hero/villain of the story, but Batman's in it a great deal, too. I've included a lot of flashbacks to Bruce and Harvey and Grace's college years, the Joker's insanity, and cameos aplenty. In fact, pretty much everyone that has ever been caged in Arkham appears at one point; Batman works solo on this one, though. His only comrades are Gordon and Alfred.
I just wanted to write a story featuring my favourite two villains and try and explore their ongoing battle as "unofficial public enemy #1", and such.
Those are my ideas, anyway. I dunno if they're any good, but I like 'em.

All I'd really want is good adaptations of comic stories. There's lots of great ones they can't do because of the damn censors.
