When Freddie plays Freddy, the director and new characters in a scene calling his name gets just so darn confusing. Is he supposed to be Freddy-the-mannequin or Freddie the minimalist actor? You'd think direction and dialogue would clear things up for him, but nooooooo.
ADDED: Shaggy, where exactly are your hands? Hmmm?

Shaggy has to be high--no non-stoned person would be that color blind when choosing a wardrobe!

This movie.. *sigh* will bomb..I can feel it...
there's no reason Daphne should have any clevage, and Freddy looks like could take out a guitar and start playing country music..

Hey, where's Freddy-boy's scarf (or whatever you call it)? He just isn't Fred without it. And the cartoon Daphne dressed a lot more conservatively compared to live-action Daphne. That picture is really corny :p I can act scared better than those 4 combined.

...ugh...I feel nausous...and to think Prinze wanted to play Spider-Man...

I honestly have no problem with a Scooby movie... oh wait I do.
The problem is the movie is going to try to hard to be corny. Back in the 60's they didn't intend the show to be corny it was geared towards kids, if you watch the newer Scooby Doo animated movies they are a whole lot more serious. I mean I love camp from the get go. But there is a huge difference on something that is genuinelly campy and something that tries to be.

This is definately one movie I hope and pray seriously bombs(Josie and the Pussycats bad) I want the Scooby Doo train to be derailed so we never have to see those damn Scooby Doo marathons and 9 hours of Scooby a day anymore, and the new cartoon gets the axe after one season, and uhhh.... uh... other bad things!

Thank god Toby McGuire is playing Spidey. Sam (Raimi), you are the man!

I second that. I can't imagine Prinze playing Peter Parker. Tobey just works in the role...just works perfectly. As for Scooby...well...WB is so confident in the movie that writing for a sequel has already begun.

The only good part of this picture is Sarah Michelle Gellar. Past that (ok, even with that) I still have absolutely no desire to see this movie.

I hope that Casey Kasem, and Frank Welker aren't involved in any way with this movie. Cameos, voiceovers, or otherwise.

I'd rather watch The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo than this. I hope the Powerpuff Girls Movie makes more money than Scooby-Doo!

I am sure they do, and more than likely it will be straight to video and will star none of the original cast members cuz they will bail after they see how bad this movie does.

Director: "No you guys!!! It's not supposed to be OBVIOUS that you're trying to not look in the camera!"
:D
Ok, this casting majorly sucks even more, no matter the costumes, they just do not look the part.

Hello Newbie, welcome to "Lets piss everyone else on the forums off by saying they suck"...
We're not close minded, we just hate Scooby Doo...not the same thing. The costumes aren't the same as the show, and I think it's stupid for them to try and recreate the look. It "worked" for the Flintstones, because the costumes looked good. These don't. They look fake, the hair loks fake, Scooby looks VERY fake.
The fact that the WB continues to promote Scooby Doo rather than GOOD shows like Freakazoid, Animaniacs, etc. really chaffes a number of people here, including myself.
If you like scooby, more power to you, but don't go telling me that I suck because I don't.

Don't you mean "Glitter" bad?
Didn't see Glitter, so I can't judge it...but at last it was an original concept, not recycled, and by using the title of a movie adapted from a TV show, I think I made a good comparison. Like Jay Sherman said, "If the movie was adapted from a TV show...just watch the show! And after around sequel number three, just say no!" :p

They've got nothing on the Mystery Inc. appearance in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.
