The only defeated teams remaining are part of the AFC. Last week the Patriots knocked the Cowboys off in a big way and at 6-0, they will take on a team with the numbers reversed, the 0-6 Miami Dolphins. The 5-0 Colts will face traditionally one of their toughest challenges, the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night. Tonight, the Steelers visit the Broncos. Pittsburgh is performing well this season under new head coach Mike Tomlin, but Denver needs to get back on the right track after losing their last three games. Carolina, Cleveland, Green Bay and San Diego sit this week out.

Granted, all this is coming against the 0-6 Dolphins, but Tom Brady and the Pats are at it again. Brady has already thrown 3 TD's and New England is destroying lowly Miami 35-7, and it's only the midway point of the second quarter. At the rate this one is going, Brady's boys could very well hang at least 50 on 'em.

I don't know if this even on topic, but during the Saints/Falcons game, there was something real brief, like the transmission was skewed.

By the time I looked up, all I saw was 'Sarah Connor: Still Searching". Terminator 4, methinks?

And, I don't even think I'm gonna watch the Pats/Dolphins game. It's ridiculous already.

Commentary on Patriots and Dolphins game:

Man if boxing was played under the same rules as boxing, this game would be stopped by the refs by now. The score is 42-7 at freaking halftime!

In the words of Ron Simmons: DAMN!

The early games are in:

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/BAL/BAL_logo-80x90.gif (4-3) Baltimore Ravens 14
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/BUF/BUF_logo-80x90.gif (2-4) Buffalo Bills 19
The Bills offense had their highest output of the season, and the Ravens showed exactly why they need McNair healthy.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/TB/TB_logo-80x90.gif (4-3) Tampa Bay Buccaneers 16
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/DET/DET_logo-80x90.gif (4-2) Detroit Lions 23
The Lions once again looked efficient in beating a Bucs D that has been tough all year.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/TEN/TEN_logo-80x90.gif (4-2) Tennessee Titans 38
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/HOU/HOU_logo-80x90.gif (3-4) Houston Texans 36
It was too little, too late when the Texans scored 15 unanswered and 29 of 32 in the fourth quarter. They need to try and score in the first half to contend. It also helped that Tennessee made 8 FG's in the game.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/NE/NE_logo-80x90.gif (7-0) New England Patroits 49
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/MIA/MIA_logo-80x90.gif (0-7) Miami Dolphins 28
This score looks similar to last weeks, but the Pats and Dolphins each scored 1 more point.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/SF/SF_logo-80x90.gif (2-4) San Francisco 49ers 15
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/NYG/NYG_logo-80x90.gif (5-2) New York Giants 33
The Giants make it five straight in a game that wasn't even as close as the score shows.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/ATL/ATL_logo-80x90.gif (1-6) Atlanta Falcons 16
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/NO/NO_logo-80x90.gif (2-4) New Orleans Saints 22
The Saints make it two straight while the Falcons find out a QB change doesn't make much difference without a running game.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/ARI/ARI_logo-80x90.gif (3-4) Arizona Cardinals 19
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/WAS/WAS_logo-80x90.gif (4-2) Washington Redskins 21
Kurt Warner proves once again why he should be the starter by rallying the Cards from a 21-06 defecit, but it was too little, too late.

I am a big 49ers fan but the offense is starting to make to me lose faith in the team. I know they are in a weak division and still have 10 games left but I feel as if this season is already over. Even if the offense can turn it around in time the defense would be too beaten up by then.

The Cats trailed at Halftime, but a second half rally alloed them to come out on top.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/OAK/OAK_logo-80x90.gif (2-4) Oakland Raiders 10
The Raiders are now 0-3 against division rivals.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/DAL/DAL_logo-80x90.gif (6-1) Dallas Cowboys 24
The Cowboys offense dominated this game, but the turnovers kept the game a lot closer than it should have been.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/CHI/CHI_logo-80x90.gif (3-4) Chicago Bears 19
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/PHI/PHI_logo-80x90.gif (2-4) Philadelphia Eagles 16
The Eagles offense continues to struggle, and it allowed the Bears to come from behind and get the win.

http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/STL/STL_logo-80x90.gif (0-7) St. Louis Rams 06
http://static.nfl.com/static/site/img/teams/SEA/SEA_logo-80x90.gif (4-3) Seattle Seahawks 33
The return of Bulger failed to help the struggling Rams offense allowing Alexander and hassleback to rebound the Seahawks after Monday Night's disappointment.

The Broncos showed they have some life and can score in a close contested battle. NBC lucked out that the Broncos showed up to play. Now is when the AFC West begins to get interested.

I doubt there's anyone out there who doesn't realize that a Rams-Dolphins Super Bowl is an inevitability at this point. Why bother with the formality of the rest of the season? One game playoff, crown the winner.

Wow, Tom Brady has 6TD passes.

21/25 354yds 6TDs

I'm going to check to see if that is a perect passer rating (158.3)
I had programed the forumla into my TI-83+ last year, but I can't find it (since I had to buy a TI-89 for AP Calc).

The Cowboys/Vikings game was farily close. It was important that the Cowboys contained Petterson after suffering a big loss to New England.

the Buccaneers got knocked off the the Lions.

And, did I mention that Tom Brady had 6 TD passes.

BTW, I'm 9-4 so far with my picks this week.

The Bills offense had their highest output of the season, and the Ravens showed exactly why they need McNair healthy.McNair is not the answer. He may have performed well last year, but he's lost the ability to go deep and cannot manage the game clock at all, always resulting in delay of game penalties. Despite the loss, Kyle Boller played extremely well, the loss was not on him as he was put in several difficult situations(like throwing a TD pass on fourth and ten) and came through on all but one(and that one was primarily Billick's fault, third and one and we try to pass? And when's it fourth and one we pass again? Why'd we spend so much on McGahee if we're not going to use him?) But Boller showed he can stretch the field and do things McNair could only dream of, such as making a key block on McGahee's TD run and running seven yards for a first down on third and seven. In that situation, instead of diving forward like Boller, McNair would have been content to slide two yards short. Boller is the quarterback for the Ravens, and the wins will start to pile up as soon as we get some key players back(CMac, Pryce, Ogden, Flynn, Heap, Wilcox, and some more that I'm probably forgetting, and all but Wilcox are starters).

Buffalo?!

The Ravens are so frustrating this year.
The Bills did almost beat the Cowboys, and they are now 2-1 with Trent Edwards as starting QB. I'd watch out for the Bills the rest of this season. They've gained momentum which could be obvious with every game they play that's not against New England.

well I wish StL and Miami would hurry up and win, we're doing all we can here to get the first pick but they're not helping by still having no wins!

If by Super Bowl you mean the race for Draft Pick #1, then I think you are exactly right. ;)

Well if anyone thought it couldn't get any worse for the Dolphins, Ronnie Brown is out for the rest of the season due to a torn ACL. Could this team be destined to go 0-16? I hope not but stranger things have happened in sports.

I don't think the Dolphins will go winless. I think their best shot to win will be against the Jets, who are strugling. And they get the play them twice. I wouldn't worry too much, becuase everyone has to win one game, even if it's at the end of the year and they play a good team that will be resting their players.

They already lost to the NY Jets 31-28 in Week 3 of the regular seasn. It's the Jets only win of the year. There other meetnig is in Week 13, and it's in Miami.

Am I the only one who thinks it would be interesting to see a winless team in the NFL? At the very least, it could be a great underdog story for next season if they improve to respectability.

The Cowboys in the late 80's/ early 90's went from 1-15 to 3-13 to 7-9 to 10-6 (lost in the first round of the playoffs at Chicago) to the Superbowl (where they beat Buffalo in the first of three titles in four years), so a winless team doing the same thing would be the same thing as what Dallas did to me. Ironically, I never saw a football game in its entirety until the year Dallas went 7-9.

A lot of people were surprised by the result of this game. I wasn't one of them. Jacksonville has had a history of splitting the season series with the Colts, but their offense has been inconsistent all year. A lot of their points had come off of turnovers. indianapolis doesn't turnover the ball, and their defense has gotten stronger every week, so I was not surprised by the final score.

Suprising? I woulda expected maybe another TD from each team(I still don't think the Colts have a great Defense)

So ya, Brady's 6 TDs = w00t

Thanks for pointing that out.

I still think that that game will be the Dolphins bast chance to win a game this year.

P.S. No that's not a typo.
