This is the way i think about lex knowing clark's secret. Well clark tells lex his secret and lex want clark to mybe get rid of a few people that he tells clark like they was the bad guys by helping him expose them or do a few other things. Or help out his chance of taking over his father company, he might tell clark to do little jobs for him and then lex get's greedy and looks at the big picture that as long he got clark power and trust he could get clark to do biger illegel things. Like help him take over other big companies that threating lex crop. And clark not dumb either and might not like what lex tell he to help with these job, but lex could threating clark with his parent if he don't do the things he kill them.

So that's my take on the whole clark telling lex thing.

Hope this is better to read. :) :) :)

But it is so obvious he knows. Especially in that scene at the hospital in the recent episode after Clark got hurt and he is walking out talking about how his powers got taken from him and Lex was standing RIGHT THERE AT THE DOOR just a couple feet from Clark and Lex says, "Clark, I heard what happened." Yeah, he DID HEAR WHAT HAPPENED. There is no way he didn't hear that. So any witnessing of Clark being hurt physically just went out the window.

Supermanpal, could you put some capitalization and punctuation in your posts next time? Reading a 7 line run-on is extremely difficult, especially when there's bad spelling to boot.

I've been wondering why Clark hasn't told Lex either, especially if he considers Lex to be his "best friend" like he said in "Hug." But the fact is Clark hasn't told anybody yet, the only people who know are his parents and those who've figured it out. Maybe he's afraid of how they'll react to his "super-ness." He does want to be treated like a normal kid. Maybe he's afraid that if he tells one person, soon everyone will know about it. And everyone will treat him special or as an outcast or someone like that Rogue Cop will try to take advantage of him.

And maybe he doesn't tell Lex, because of his parents like NF said. Maybe he's keeping his dad's dislike of the Luthor's in mind and doesn't completely trust Lex. That said, it'd be devastating if Clark & Lex's falling out was due to Lex's feeling betrayed because Clark never told him the "truth."

He's probably just scared. I mean, it's not like he's particularly picking on Lex by not telling him. He hasn't told anyone. Clark doesn't want anyone to take advantage of him, and, like Failure said, he just wants to be a normal kid.

One of my main problems w/ Clark keeping the secret from Lex is the extent at which he lies. He made it seem like Lex was a dirty piece of scummy slime for questioning his lies. I understand that he was going through a lot and he doesn't want Lex to know, but i just didn't like how he handled that.

Ditto on what optimal321 said. That just doesn't seem right to me.

I too think Clark coud have handled Lex's accsation better. Is it kind of wierd feeling bad for Lex because Clark doesn't tell him about his powers, especially when we all know how Lex turns out?

Yeah. I'm beginning to wish that Lex doesn't turn out the way he turns out. But I guess that's the way the creampuff crumbles...
