Knowing my luck, this'll probably just end up becoming my desinated Birthday Topic, but for now, I really need some suggustions.

My 18th Birthday is coming up this Monday, (Yes, 18 years old! I can now legally... do nothing interesting! ) but I haven't the slightest clue what to do for it. I wanted to spend some time with my friends, but unfortunatly that isn't going to happen for numerious of reasons. The past birthdays, all I've done is be cooped up in this house, and I really just want to do something different this year.

So, on a really odd move, I'm actually asking Toon Zone for suggustions.

...And Kuwa, before you even post, still no to all your suggustions.

If Kuwa's suggestions got shut down, mine are even more likely to.

Well, I was going to suggest doing something with friends, but I guess you can't for some reason.

My 18th birthday was pretty average. I didn't want anything big. I basically just had a small cake at home with my family, opened some presents, then some friends and I went to see a movie. That's enough to satisfy me for a birthday.

My only advice is not to go out and buy cigarettes... just because you can.

My memory's fuzzy but I believe on my 18th, I just invited my friends over to my house and hung out, watched movies and played video games. I'm pretty sure we didn't go out to a movie... though it's confusing because there were quite a few movies we all went to around that time- Planet of the Apes, Scary Movie 2, Rush Hour 2, Jurassic Park 3... I'm fairly certain we didn't go to a movie for my birthday, though.

Buy a lotto ticket for the lolz. It's $1, and you can.

My 18th birthday was on Mother's Day, so the family did a combined Mother's Day/birthday celebration by going to a brunch buffet then I went out with my best friend later that night. It wasn't really all that exciting.

If you can't hang out with friends for your birthday, not sure what else to suggest. Go see a movie or have a movie marathon? Go out for dinner?

My suggestions of cigarettes, lottery tickets, gambling, and such all got shot down, so everyone else shouldn't really bother, either.

Chibi, I can't really give you any other advice aside from what was already said.

And listen to what Sam told you to do, to. :p

Hmm...since you can't do anything with your friends, I suppose I would suggest just having a nice dinner with your family and relaxing with an awesome TV show/movie.

On my 18th birthday some friends and I went down to Times Square, ate at a restaurant, saw a movie, and did the regular sightseeing. My 19th is coming up, and I'm totally going to this (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2007-10-05/naruto-wii-game-promoted-with-ramen-eating-contest) event, if only for free food. It's on the same day as my birthday, so why not? :D

It seems like a lot of TZers have October birthdays...

All I really did for my 18th birthday was spending some B Money on Pokemon Stadium for the N64 and getting some Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for VHS (Mine was in 2000).

My 18th is comming up in March, and I'm going to do what I did for my last couple B-day parties, but on a much bigger scale.

I going to invite many of my friends and play a great game of Football. :D

I don't know if you want to do that, but that's what I would do.
