KIDS' WB! DOMINATES BROADCAST COMPETITION TO RANK #1

AMONG KIDS 2-11, KIDS 6-11, BOYS 2-11 AND BOYS 6-11

BURBANK, CA (February 14, 2002) On Saturday, February 9, Pokémon: Johto League Champions, at 10:00 a.m. ET, dominated the second Saturday of February sweep as the #1 broadcast program in Kids 2-11 (4.1/15), Kids 6-11 (4.8/17), Boys 2-11 (5.3/20) and Boys 6-11 (6.4/23). The animé-adventure also ranked as the #2 program for the morning among all competition in Boys 6-11. The breakout series The Mummy, in its 9:30 a.m. ET time period, ranked #2 for the morning among the broadcast competition in Kids 6-11 (4.7/16), Boys 2-11 (4.8/17), Boys 6-11 (6.3/21) and Kids 2-11 (3.8/13), tying CBS's "Blues Clues" (3.8/14).

Kids' WB! finished the morning as the #1 network among all competition in Boys 6-11, tying with Nickelodeon (5.0/19), and topped the broadcast competition among Kids 2-11 (3.0/12), Kids 6-11 (3.6/14) and Boys 2-11 (3.8/15). Among Kids 2-11, the network beat CBS (2.3/10), Fox Kids (2.2/8) and ABC (1.7/8).

Jackie Chan Adventures, at 9:00 a.m. ET, finished the morning among the top 10 broadcast and cable programs in Kids 6-11 (4.4/16), Boys 6-11 (5.7/20) and Girls 6-11 (3.1/11). The comedy-adventure series led its time period broadcast competition in Kids 2-11 (3.4/12), Kids 6-11, Girls 2-11 (2.5/9), Girls 6-11 and Boys 2-11 (4.2/15), tying Fox Kids' "Digimon: Digital Monsters" (4.2/15).

In its 10:30 a.m. ET time period, X-Men: Evolution rounded out the morning as one of the top 10 programs among all competition in Kids 2-11 (3.7/13), Kids 6-11 (4.0/14) and Girls 2-11 (3.2/11). Topping its time period broadcast competition, the teenage mutant high-adventure series ranked #1 among Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, Boys 2-11 (4.1/15), Girls 2-11 and Boys 6-11 (5.1/18), tying Fox Kids' "Digimon: Digital Monsters" (5.1/19).
