Don't get me wrong. The show is enjoyable, but from what I understand there is no intention for the network to order any new episodes of the show. And the total episode count is 13, if I heard correctly. I mean I figured they moved Oban Star-Racers to weekends because of it being 26 episodes long, so why not Silverwing.

Wait, why does your thread title say "Is Silverwing really that popular?" and then you talk about how the network isn't reording episodes? Don't you mean "Is Silverwing really not that popular?"
Unless you mean it in a sarcastic way?

I figure it's popular because it's been airing everyday of the week for this year, despite having only 13 episodes. Even then I'm curious as to why it hasn't be restricted to weekends. Cause surely the same 13 episodes would be tiring after a while.

If it were popular, it wouldn't be on at 5:30 in the morning.
That whole 4-6 am time seems to be a dumping ground for filler with no intention of ever bring 'interesting' -- kinda like what Adult Swim did with Gigantor and Voltron.

That's because Silverwing is a miniseries and was meant to be 13 episodes long from the start.

4am to 6am, where shows go to die. :D

I understand that now, but it would be better suited for weekends and replaced on the weekdays with a show over say 39 episode. Because any program 26 episodes and under have no place being on weekdays on a weekly basis unless there are more episodes. It's not rocket science or anything.

Oh, yeah.
I do agree with you on that. I've been saying Silverwing should be weekend-only since mid-2006.

I've been saying Silverwing should be weekend-only since mid-2006.If they don't mind what shows are on at that time, they'd be no worse off if they dropped one of the two Gargoyles strips and made Silverwing weekend-only and appeased the audiences with at least letting fans see Daigunder to its conclusion.
I was also gonna add Medabots to get that last episode finally on in the U.S. -- but I'm certain Disney's rights to the property expired long ago.
