I know! I bet it took them a couple of weeks to do this! Seriously, though, I was expecting a bit more than a black band around the cover and the PG-13 rating on the bottom. I was hoping for new cover art...

...but alas we won't be getting that. And good ol' reliable snapper cases...*sigh*

Hey, at least we'll be able to tell it apart from the edited version. I was having nightmares about retailers mixing the old and new DVD stock in April with me standing there like a moron trying to figure out which is which...and then getting home, popping in the DVD and realizing that I bought the same one again.
I'm glad that there will at least be something to tell the two apart. Though, it would have been nice to see something new, artwise.

Notice the "reformatted to fit your screen" quip. It's on the edited one, too. Don't really see why they didn't put the matted version on there, too. This film was storyboarded in widescreen just like JL.

I think it's kinda stylish. Woulda been cooler with new art, but it has a stylish look to it.

That is the ugliest picture of Joker that I've ever seen. Why did they choose that design?

WB could do alot better than this cover. They could have use the Alex Ross's lithograph of Batman Beyond. Now that would be real cool.
