3. in pardise lost pt 1 and 2 only 5 members.
do you think that 5 members will be in war world pt 1 and 2?

It is an hour, we just see it in two different parts.
I think it's best that most of the time we don't see all 7 heroes. It's just too many people. I think 5 is good number because the JL is a team and one or two just wouldn't be enough to do the concept of the show justice (pardon the pun). It helps with congestion, which many people argue there is anyway.

Yeah, unless its a three parter like secret origins, its best that they keep at least 2 other characters on the sidelines... with of course the exception of Injustice for all which will be cram packed with more good guys and bad guys than you can shake a stick at! Should be a good one for any action junkie!

I think that, besides issues like character congestion and not having enough for everyone to say or do, the issue is really that character obviously have lives outside of the Justice League. There is no reason to have to depict them as being together all of the time. Like in "In Blackest Night," J'Onn says that Diana was on her own case. I think that's a very satisfying explanation for her absence. She has her own city and own friends to take care of, after all, as does every other member of the League.
And Batman is busiest of them all. The more episodes he appears in, the more it subtracts from his realism in his own realm. Same with Superman really. I would love an episode without Batman or Superman

They were originally gonna put 4 and a half members in each episode but it would be unfair to the other 3 and a half leaguers...

Matt-Man,
Were there really going to be eight regulars? Why did they tone it down to seven? And who was the eighth going to be? Now I'm curious! :)

Matt-Man,
No problem. Spiderman, Thor, Space Ghost, and a few others were going through my head as possibilities.... :)

LOL. Yeah, maybe someday when Marvel and DC join together as one company and become Amalgam... hey, wait... Anyways, I'm glad you're not mad... and now I shall shut up. :bosko:

Actually, the number of members shown, and who is shown, should depend on the plot. If there's some desturbance in Gotham City, I would expect to see Batman, Batgirl, Robin, and possibly Nightwing. I don't expect to see the others unless something got their attention or Batman calls them.
If there's a problem in Metropolis, I expect to see Superman. That's it. It's only when they call for help or the problem escalates and gets the others' attention is when I expect to see them showing up. Supposedly, they all have their own lives to be busy watching each others' cities.
In "Enemy Below", the other two heroes should have popped up because there was a global disturbance (polar ice caps melting). Didn't that get their attention at all to make them report in?
In the pilot, that was definitely an attention-getter. Not only should our seven heroes have been there, but that kind of worldwide invasion should have had every hero known to DC-kind show up at least in cameos. What? Were all heroes except seven asleep?

With that logic you could argue that they all should have shown up for the Darkseid invasion in S: TAS. Let's not start asking those questions because we'll never get an answer.

Well, think about it... There was never any indication that there weren't other heroes dealing with the invasion. Not every hero lives in Metropolis.

Well, we've seen Superman in every episode. We've also seen Metropolis in every episode. I think that the Leaguers should try to not be in Metropolis every once in awhile.
But 5 is a nice round number. I think J'onn should be in every episode. He is the glue that keeps the League together. I have a problem with Supes being in every ep, but I'll get over it. But 5 is good, because it gives alot of screen time for the characters that are there.
