What the heck is with the advertisements?

Why do we have such trashy ads? Do we really need ads that say "Shakira in a bikini" or a nude girl on the page?

This simply makes Tz look bad and trashy, now, I understand the need to advertise for money, but there has got to be better ads than these...

It's probably a Google Ad. That's not something we'd ever run on our own. But you'll have to let me know what Ad size (WxH) and what page you saw it on (PM, Thread, Forum View, etc.)

Size is 468x60 pixels and they show up on every page for me, like a normal, non-trashy ad will show for 3 seconds, it will go white and then a trashy ad will come in.

Are you sure you didn't get hit with spyware? Our ads don't refresh without your page refreshing (one ad per page load) and I believe we've only got house ads running at that size at the moment.

I know it's one of those time-necessary things, but someone probably just has to spend a bit of time looking through the google ad options and cleaning it out some. Not really a rush-necessary thing by any means though.

When we sell the space, yes, we do choose or pursue animation related stuff. There's less of a choice with Google Ads. If it is illegal, like one or two you posted, then we'll do what we can to get rid of them.
