Maybe I am wrong, but I believe Hanna Barbara is one of the first cartoon studios to really embrace rock n roll, maybe they weren't the first, but the first to really use rock n roll, the music the kids were listening to do to use in their cartoons.

I know there was sounds a Scooby Doo album released on Rhino, and a Josie and The Pussycats limited edition rerelease album, but other than that, are their any albums that have the sounds of Hanna Barbara rock n roll music?

Songs like eep Opp Ork Ah Ah from the Jetsons, or the Bed Rock Rocks song from the Flintstones (I could have that title of that song wrong), I especially would love to find Makin' With The Magilla song form Magilla Gorilla.

Well, let see.

How about "Squiddly Diddly's Surfin' Surfari", on Hanna-Barbera Records HLP-2043? Maybe Snooper and Blabber's "Monster Shindig" on H-B Records HLP-2020. Maybe The Hillbilly Bears, "Hillbilly Shindig" on H-B records HLP 2044. And then, I do recall there was a non- HB Records, Banana Splits LP released in 1969.

That's all I can think of, off hand. Anybody else?

In print, or long out of print? There have been a series of albums featuring Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, et al years ago. Currently (or at least, more current) there were 2 Cartoon Network albums released by Rhino. Groovin Toons and Something else I can't off the top remember, but I have both albums.

The song I am interested in is Makin With The Magilla the original version preformed in an episode of the same name on the Magilla Gorilla show. What album or combelatin album can I find this song, even it is a long out of print LP.
