I played it last weekend at the Nintendo World store and controlling with the stylus really wasn't so bad at all. I'm looking forward to playing my own copy when I've got time.

I forgot to comment on KoF 2006:

Surprisingly, the made Billy Kane kickass in this game; possibly overpowered boss syndrome. Usually I can't control him at all in previous games.
Also, thank god for a Japanese voice track option, because the English track is still far from good.

Stranger's Wrath is really cool. I enjoyed it for the short time I had to spend with it. Is Metal Arms an Xbox exclusive? I've never seen that game, but I do enjoy robots.

Its really a great game thats over 40 levels long, funny and has very good character and environment designs (except a few of the city levels). Just bought Doom, Streets of Rage 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on XBLA, and I'm loving the nostalgia(and the achievements). I own way too many different copies of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, but I figured what the hell, it'll raise my gamerscore. Beating Green Hill Zone in 34 seconds was tough and annoying, but I managed to do it. Also picked up both Bioshock themes and picture packs with the extra points, and they're really cool.

Liking it so far, although I'll still never quite get used to that particular design for Link. I like the cel-shaded graphical style in general, but seriously, what the HELL is up with his freaky cats-eyed stare?

Controls are decent so far, although the swordplay seems... imprecise. Might just take some getting used to.

I'd like to know how Hoshigami is. I played it back in the Playstation years ago. Hopefully, it was made easier on the DS.

Well the game is fun, though I feel the graphics could have used a litte more updating...the art direction is pretty generic.

However I was going around in my 'normal' setting game quite okay until I hit this map where the enemy was placed on this very high mountain that could only be accessed by going around the map and beating like two dozen other opponent, while some stupid archer and a coinfeign specialist took pot shot at my team from above!

The worse part was that they started lower levels and gained like FIVE level during the time I took to get beaten!

I was so disgusted I started an 'easy' game instead XD I might return to that map later... I'm about to get there in my easy game...we'll see.

Ive accually been killing time with Front Mission 3 on my PSX, of course i havent touched the game in over 3 years till a month ago or so.

A friend of mine sold his PS2 to join the group of people who would jump off a cliff to get an Xbox at the time, so he gave me FM3 along with Legend of Mana and i think another one. But i spent that whole summer playing FM3 after work listening to Daft Punk as well.

Im like 21 hours into the game, i guess im almost there at the end...

The Eye of Judgement came in the post today, woo!

Interestingly, this is the first PS3 game i got that scales up to 1080i for those with earlier (480p/1080i only) HDTVs* and it also checks for updates when you start the game, much like an Xbox 360 game.


* (I presume it scales, since when i toggled 1080i/p on (my TV supports them by downscaling) the game still ran in 720p..... which shouldn't happen unless its by scaling (since the PS3 prefers to give you a native picture, since scaling is half hardware/half software IIRC))

It really is the best of the Phoenix saga. Hopefully the fourth title isn't as much as a let down as people say it is. :sad:
