Ando and Matt don't know each other

haha. Mohinder got owned

What the hell is wrong with her eyes?

Another absorber? Through I'm guessing he can only take away one power at a time within a short range.

Mind slap. :anime:

The spooky Hatian is back.

Totally gross. She cut off her own toe

Why Didn't she look up?

It's nice to know that Claire can cut off her pinky toe and it'll regenerate fine.

My roommate was freakin out when he saw that.

If you are referring to Maya's brother, i believe he cures or is her cure, not an "absorber".

Missed what this was referring to.

Can anyone catch me up?

Yay Haitian. I love him.

And Angela Petrelli's interrogation scene was kick-ass. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD."

Maybe. That would make sense since they are twins. Possibly Maya was supposed to be able to control her powers but her powers got split between the two.

Mayas brother made the black stuff from her eyes go away by absorbing her power.

Or he can just neutralize powers.

So far no two character have been since to have the same power. And he didn't seem to negate her powers.

Um...Kinsei and West? And Alejandro does more than neutralize powers because he brought that woman back from the dead. He's probably a healer the same way Maya is a killer.

oh, right. But I think he can control the wind. As for Kensei, I don't know what to make of him yet,

Claire is heroes like kim is to 24. I am starting to loathe her character. Not because of her power(which are cool by the way). But her mistakes always cost everyone else.

I'm starting to see why she has her powers though. In the case of evolution, someone like Claire would have been dead early in life. So, I guess she naturally developed a counter to that.

I'm good until she continuously starts getting kidnapped; i'm done when that happens.

Anyone thinking DL died. I thought he lived in the online comics? So I don't really understand.

Speaking of that, is everyone keeping up with the online comics as well?

It's my opinion that Alejandro and Maya trade the icky black killing power between each other, because I thought I saw his eyes go black toward the end.

Yeeeesh, the moment I saw Claire eyeing those scizzors I hid my eyes. Did that ever take guts....yeah, a lizard can do that, but it takes him a while. Claire's a super-lizard, apparently.

And she also apparently isn't the first super-lizard. Nice twist with Kensei. I was certain that was the end of him and Hiro would end up doing everything, like the story was pulling toward.

West is the lamest character on the show right now, and I hope she doesn't get too attached. And that goes for the young female viewers of "Heroes" who might possibly demand he stay on. Please don't.

We need a sequel episode called "Starfish." Because I wonder if slicing Claire in half would produce two Claires.

So is West second power peeping? Somehow when we see Claire, West is somewhere peeping.

As for Mya and Alejandro it seems like their powers are opposite of each other. Which makes sense since they are siblings. One heals, the other kills.

Kensei having regenerative powers was supprising. I thought he was just another character without powers but I was wrong.

Gotta say, kinsei's chest bleed was well done. I mean you never see the arrow cut line and the gushing bleed in the movies.

The problem with Maya is that she is so freaked out that she herself becomes a burden just trying to get her to hide and stop talking.

Peter saves the day and has his powers back, why the hell is he putting up with that garbage?

Kensei having regenerative powers was supprising. I thought he was just another character without powers but I was wrong. It's not really that surprising, since the "upcoming episodes" preview that aired at the end of last week's episode suggested that Kensei was going to have some sort of super power.

Peter saves the day and has his powers back, why the hell is he putting up with that garbage? Sure, he may have his powers back, but he's still missing his memories. Hence his current situation: the head of the gang that found him has a box containing something that will help Peter remember who he is, but in order to get it, he has to do something gang-related.

That'd make more sense if they were identical twins, but they're fraternal so her powers being split is less likely.

Well from appearances, Kensei can also regenerate the same as Claire so I would think it'd be possible for two people to have the same power.

They hired Regis Philbin's kid to write their storyline 'cause the geeks they have on staff can't write romance. :p

I'm with you on this one. Peter should have just used his telekinesis to yank the box out of the Irish goon's hand (and pushed the jerk into the fireplace while he was at it). This is going to lead up to Peter becoming a member of the gang and getting a new collection of enemies. Bad move.

Claire is really beginning to worry me. But when her father's not home, it's clear that Mr. Muggles in the brains in that family.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt annoyed by her in this episode. Seriously Claire, bad people are out to get you, give up your goal of "being yourself" and just stick with being alive.

TVGuide.com says Heroes audience dropped 15% from it's premiere episode last week with 11.94 million viewers.

I'm liking the season so far, but I hate, HATE amnesia stories! HATE THEM! There always the go to plot device. It's just tacky daytime soap opera esque writing when you do amnesia angles.

So with that, I really hope Peter regains his memory and fast.

That symbol seems to show up all through out 'Heroes' history these first two episodes don't it?

I have to admit I'm impressed with Heroes ability to juggle so many plots fairly well. There are a bit of faltering in some of them sometimes but they usually work out pretty well. Let's see what we got here.

Maya and Alenjerdo: The weakest link like last time, probably because we still know the least about them. I did here about Maya's powers though and is probably the only spoiler I appreciate knowing beforehand. It's still kind of vague what she does but it does make sense if you know the general conidtion. I do feel bad for her and Alendero in a way, having to hurt people they don't want to if they're not together. That's a pretty tragic spin on what's already pretty deadly powers.

Mohinder: In working with the company he meets up with the Hatian and helps him and gets wiped. In a way it's kind of too bad The Hatian didn't know Mohinder's working with Noa to bring the comapny down but I guess less complicated if Mohinder had to hide that from the company and could just go with being mindwiped and nothing more. Surprised it was the Haitain though (I don't read the synospis of what I post truthfully) even when it said Hati. Should pay more attention to those kind of things.

Matt: Besides a sort of nice moment at the end with him and Molly sleeping all he really did is hear about Nakimura's death (sucks he did die in a way) and get yelled at by Mrs. Petrelli for trying to mind read her. Maybe she'll appreciate it more after being attacked by mystery hero killer and living. Whatever that guy does dosen't look fun. I have a feeling this is also going to re-involve Nathan in the plot more after his sad bearded state the last couple of eps (I have to say at least he wears that beard better then Jack from Lost's third season flash forward).

Peter: In addition to rediscovering his super strength (Nikki), healing (Claire) and telekenitic powers (Sylar. I also think I saw a little phasing ala D.L. Guess he got clse enough in cotact with him to use those powers) we see a bit more of his electirc powers as well as his new statement in Ireland: Finding some caring being with Catlin and possible answers from her brothers in the box. I have a feeling this conflict of interest will at least showcase some more of his acquired powers though I still don't want to see peter become too powerful and make everyone so inferior in comparision.

Hiro: Probably one of the best plots in this episode: Trying to restore Kensei's legend (cool use of powers taking away the group's swords and arrows) and try to woe the girl for Kensei. I guess Hiro gets enough of a kick pretending to be his hero and fixing history to try and claim the glory for himself. We also see Kensei does have his own power... or rather Claire's power... or rather Claire has his. You know how time travel ruins everything. Wait Claire could have japanese ancestry? Which means the Peterelli's have japanese ancestry and... well guess that does make everything even more connected. Moving on.

Claire: Tying in with the lizard theme the most (in the report and in trying to see if regeneration also includes regrowing limbs) Claire also seems to be sruggling more then even last time with fitting in. Pretty understandable, espically when you feel you can't even be yourself at home. I have a feeling that car disappearing will have more impact then just an excuse for a Claire/Noa scene, and that West and Claire will soon actually start talking of the other's abilities. Which will be cool.

Overall solid on pretty much every end. Hoping the show can continue this level of quality the rest of this Generations Run.

Chapter 2 Lizards

Overall Rating: Whew!

Last week it was gulp, but this week it’s a whew. So many people avoided death in this episode...

Ricky, Blackie, Georgie, Peter Petrelli and Caitlin

So these Irish small timers were sent in to rob a container that happened to be swapped for an amnesiac Peter Petrelli. I’m guessing the Company planned this without letting the trio and their benefactor McSorely know. Enter Caitlin, new love interest for Peter.

Super cool factor, Peter using a bunch of powers this episode: Spontaneous Regeneration, Intangibility, Telekinesis and Super Strength!!

Noah Bennet

He know something about this revenge arc! A series of eight, and he got the one that foretold Kaito’s death. So whoever killed Kaito is either the ninth or a new guard hired. But Kaito did recognize him and said of everybody he trusted him the most. So it’s either the first or there will be a series of double crosses later on. I still say Kaito’s killer was Mr. Claremont.

Claire Bennet and West

The OMG moment, Claire learns a little more about her power while West stalks her!

Ando Masahashi

Umm, so what’s going to happen with Ando? Wonder if he’ll figure into the rest of the season or how for that matter.

Matt Parkman, Angela Petrelli and Nathan Petrelli

Makes sense that the DNA symbol was part of Mr. Petrelli’s law firm like everyone else. And holy shippers, Angela and Kaito had a fling. That means a remote chance that Kimiko could be…definitely not Hiro. I remember his mother’s name was mentioned, or that was a total lie.

“We did something terrible, now someone wants revenge.” Hmmm.

The other OMG moment, Angela caught on to Parkman and screamed in her mind “GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!” Spooky.

Another red herring moment, as Nathan appears, Angela is attacked. But something I noticed, electricity was lost and she was attacked in the dark. Last week, a viewer came up with a theory that Kaito’s killer has the power of umbrakinesis, can manipulate darkness and shadows (like Obsidian in the DC Universe).

Hiro Nakamura, Takezo Kensei and Yaeko

Very entertaining set of scenes with sobering Kensei, Hiro posing as his hero, the Battle of 12 Swords, and discovering the reality of Takezo Kensei’s super powers. After I read his bio on the Yamagato Fellowship website, after Kensei killed himself, the dragon breathed life into him and he arose granted immortality. Looks like he has the same powers as Claire, very cool.

Bob

Quite interesting to see his office so cluttered compared to others we’ve seen in the Company like Linderman or Thompson.

I read online that Bob’s power is most likely Chrysopoeia, transmutating things to gold, specifically. Okay, that’s a weird one but whatever.

Mohinder Suresh

Meh. He seems like the third wheel so far, no real characterization like last season but to move the plot along, it’s okay for now.

Maya and Alejandro

Yikes, Maya’s power is to emit pathogens?! Yuck. That’s got to be the weirdest and most dangerous power ever. I wonder why an evolution like that is necessary…to wipe out us innocent non-powered folk? Gulp. Alejandro at least seems more beneficial to society, he can send antibodies and cure diseases. Was it just me or did that faith healer have a power, too?

The Haitian

Yey, he’s saved and teaming up with Bennet, too!!

Other Theories

I’m guessing one of the other Company founders dragged Sylar into the manhole last season and they gave him the ****** vacation treatment that Peter got, too. Why, well they are both two of the more dangerous yet useful ones out there. They both can copy powers and if the Big Bad can figure out how to use them to his advantage…

Freedom Fighter

The new Peter piecing things back together. Suresh running into the long lost Haitian... whom he 'unknown to the Company' helps get him back together with Claire's dad. Speaking of which, the cheerleader's is doing self-mutilation experimentation again. And Kensei's not the hero Hiro thinks he is, but he's determined to guide him to the right path - after he survives a bunch of arrows to the chest? He's a chosen one, too!

Enjoyable second chapter to the season.

"Lizards": 4/5.
