Awesome news. I'll definitely be picking up KOF: Orochi Saga which, if it's the same as the Japanese release, should have KOF '95-'97.

Perhaps the sports ones and those fighting games that weren't that popular? (Agressors of Dark Combat, Savage Reighn etc)
Of course I'm getting the KOF compilation, but doesn't 94 count as part of the Orochi Saga?

I hope 3 Count Bout makes it onto the Arcade Classics disc, and I'm looking forward to all the super-cheap SNK goodness coming out in the next year.

Of course I'm getting the KOF compilation, but doesn't 94 count as part of the Orochi Saga? I believe KOF '94 is part of the Rugal Saga. Though it certainly would be nice if it was included on the compilation, as we never did get a U.S. release of KOF '94 Rebout and it would be odd to start at '95. We'll know when a game list is announced, I guess...

If anything, it will likely include a selection of their pre-Neo-Geo titles from the early-to-mid 80's. However, I don't want to see just "IKARI" (as it's called in Japan)*, that Psycho Soldier game sounds interesting (first video game to feature a vocal theme song). OTOH, I would also like to see the original Athena as well (in the U.S. we only got the NES version). IMO, Guerilla War would be redundant if IKARI was included. Further, I would like to only see the original IKARI at this time. If "Dogo Soken" (Victory Road), and IKARI III (: The Rescue) were also included, it would just be "IKARI and Friends". Still we'll see what turns up, won't we.
Another thing, I hope SNK-P doesn't hire Digital Eclipse for this one (long story)...
*"Ikari Warriors" is called simply "IKARI" in Japan.

As for Samurai Spirits. It won't release as "Samurai Spirits Anthology" or "Samurai Spirits II". But rather as it's North American name; Samurai Showdown Anthology or Samurai Showdown II.

Well, that's assuming that the Samurai Shodown stuff is set for a U.S. release - they might wait until the other collections are out before releasing it, as SamSho isn't even as well known as the other SNK series' in the U.S.

Uh, anybody remember Vanguard? I think that was the very first SNK game.

Any chance of them including the Samurai Showdown RPG with the SS anthology or is is just going to be mainly a collection of the fighters?

Unfortunately, it'll only be the fighting games. Like Showdown I, II & III
