this album is REALLY good. i was expecting it to just get a soundrack from the show, but it turns out it's awesome. seriously, people should definitely pick this up. Dethklok is this generation's Spinal Tap.

My Target didn't get it, or wasn't gonna get it fro mwat an employee told me

So i spent over an hour visiiting Best Buy and Circuit City to find it, only to get it a Newburry Comics for 13 bucks(Not bad for the Deluxe Version)

The Deluxe doesn't include The Season 2 premire tho, And only 3 bonus tracks

and 1 Hot Topic I finally found a copy of the Deluxe version. Seems someone had intended to buy it but left it by the kiosk. Damn halo 3 thowing off Best Buy's stocking standards. Had everything been worked out to the showroom normally more employees would have been aware of the the damn CD.

I can't find the Deluxe edition ANYWHERE. Was there only a limited number produced? None of the online retailers have it in stock. I would just download it but I really really want to buy it. If anyone knows where I can it it (online or otherwise) please let me know!

Lutochris, you can get it on iTunes, but it'/s missing 5 songs(Detheme, Kill You Intro, Kill You, Dethklok gets into Tune, Duncan Hills Cofee Jingles) and doesn't have the episode included

Just came back from the mall. Friend of mine who works at FYE said that only Hot Topic has the deluxe version. I didn't see it there though...

EDIT: Going over the thread it seems that she was right. Hot Topic is the only place that carries the Deluxe Edition right now.

EPIC WIN!!

I found the deluxe version at the 5th Hot Topic store I tried (an hour from my house, it was worth it). I couldn't find it in the regular shelf, then all of the sudden I noticed up on the wall, where it said "Employee Picks", there it was, with a red cover and all. So I got the guy to take it down from the wall and bought it - probably the last one left in the state of Missouri.

And as expected, it's arguably the best metal album of the decade. The only thing I wish they'd have done differently was to put all the metal songs on disc 1, and then had disc 2 for the videos and all the non-metal songs (Dr. Rockso's song, Toki's "Underwater Friends", the dying girl's song, etc). Because those were good songs too and I'd like to have them.

We only received one copy of the regular version of Dethalbum last Tuesday, and that was promptly picked up by one of my co-workers. We received two more copies later in the week, but these sold out immediately. I'm waiting on the Deluxe Edition to come in. We've got some on order, so it's only a matter of time. What bothers me is the fact that every week, we will receive more than enough copies of that week's major label releases, ex. Rascal Flatts, Jill Scott, but when it comes to smaller releases, instead of sending us a decent amount, like maybe ten, we only get one or two copies. Not everyone listens to Kanye West, 50 Cent, Rascal Flatts, etc. Some people like to try out the new artists/band's albums, even if they aren't what could be considered Grammy-nominated material. I hope we get the rest of our order because I had suggested that the order for Dethalbum be increased, knowing what a cult following we have for Dethklok in the area.

I SHOULD have Dethklok blaring in my headphones right NOW, but somehow my pre-order from Barnes & Noble's music section never made it to the store! The computer says it's not even at their warehouse!

This is seriously emo. I TRULY hope someone didn't screw up and cost me a deluxe edition by not handling my reservation properlly.

From what you guys say, it might be like trying to find a Limited Edition black Wii with all the Dethklok guys as Miis. If I'm out of luck, I'll be one upset metal fan.

On a related note, did any of you guys notice any Dethklok shirts at Hot Topic?

After listening to the album version of Thunderhorse several times now, I'm not sure I like it as much as the original version. Its seems a little "overproduced" - the drums are too loud and the guitars get lost in the mix. This is especially true during that great riff in the middle, the one that's preceded by Nathan saying "Revenge" (the same riff that the song fades out on). That's my favorite riff on the album, and I was disappointed that it didn't turn out so well in the new version.

Well, if you didn't get the Deluxe Edition by now, you're pretty much screwed. Hot Topics nationwide have sold out, and it's going for 80 bucks on ebay. Even the regular edition is sold out.

I had the chance to get one, but I didn't. Ah well.

I hoped that we would get at least one copy at Best Buy, but we didn't. If iTunes had not gotten it, I would have been irritated.
