Really good episode. So Michael has finally earned Lachero's respect.I also liked the fact that Mahone was managing to hold his own ground until he was outbidded. Finally Bellick is treated better around there. Can't wait for next weeks episode.Btw Did Lincoln have another copy of the birds book or something?

Only on this show is being the 'smart guy' in prison a good thing. Michael's saved his neck, Mahone's, and the prison's 'leader' and his flunkies all with one selfless act. Oh, and not to mention this Whistler guy. Of course, there's still the issue of getting him out, what with the actual sniper guards waiting outside the main complex.

"Fire/Water": 3.5/5.

I'm behind, but my goal is to fix that. I hope to watch this week's episode tonight, I guess I'm skipping the premiere talkback at this point. :(

The hallmark of this episode was the return of Michael's good ol' prison ingenuity, using his surroundings to his advantage. I really wasn't sure what he was doing at first, but the homemade bomb to open up the water pipes was awesome. Lechero telling Mahone he had been "outbid" for Whistler's head was a great moment.

Who would have thought we would see T-Bag making himself subservient to a man with dark skin? Bagwell sure didn't have a lot of respect for C-Note and Sucre, but I guess the snake is doing what he has to in order to survive. It seems to be working him. Just like being the coward that he is worked for Bellick. In his place, I don't know that I would have done any different, but it still felt low. Although Lechero didn't seem to care that much.

It was tough watching Sucre say good-bye to Maricruz. I guess he had to, but it was still rough.

Btw Did Lincoln have another copy of the birds book or something? We didn't see him pick it up, but he must have. He gave Susan B. Anthony (if that is her real name) a bird book and then he pulled another one out. Obviously he has the one Whistler left for Sofia. Hopefully it will give him some clues as to why they want the Aussie.
