I was surprised that no one made a talkback of Magi-Nation, either. The first episode was pretty good. However, I wasn't too high on the animation. The writers kind of left the first episode at a cliff-hanger, so I'm looking forward to seeing episode two.
Oh, and just to let you know, Magi-Nation isn't an anime series. It's American-made. ;)

Canada is part of America ya know...
It's got that same "semi-choppy" trying to be "generic anime" look. I think Cookie Jar is involved but I forget exactly. It's rate Y with an E/I and I gotta wonder what is educational about it. Seems like your typical mon series and I've got to say there's no point in making a series for Magi-Nation this late in the game. It'll probably bomb.
But hey... it's got a rediculously fast turtle and that's worth something.

It's rate Y with an E/I and I gotta wonder what is educational about it. Winx Club was E/I.. so I assume E/I can apply to anything that involves "good guys are good, bad guys are bad" which I guess is educational (Don't be evil, kids!) But yeah, the E/I tag is pretty much pointless in these days since it gets stuck on everything.

Yeah because by those qualifications pretty much everything on Saturday mornings would count as E/I but they're only required to have an hour or two of that stuff.

Did the Cookie Jar Ent. logo appear on Magination or Will and Dewitt, anybody?

It looked pretty good so far. I wanted to see who was the voice cast, but they shrunk the credits so that I couldn't even read any of the names.

I personally liked the 5 or so minutes I got to see...
but I'll have to wait until next week to see it for real.

Because of Kids WB's credit crunch, it's hard for me to read the voice cast for Magi-Nation, does anyone have a voice cast list for Magi-Nation?

It kind of is, and kind of isn't. The show has a similar style, but is actually Canadian-Korean.

I didn't watch this because judging from the new website, this is nothing like the Magi Nation I fell in love with 6 years ago. They did a lot of bad character design changes amongst other things. From what I can tell, they watered it down to a much more childlike level. Also the game is one of my favorite RPGs and the soundtrack to it is one of the best video game soundtracks ever. Amazing game period. Anyways, there is a chance I'll glance at the series so I can say i gave it an honest shot, but I highly doubt I'll be satisfied.
P.S-the original card game was so kick a**

I'd try to watch it if it weren't on at 7:30 in the morning. I used to wake up that early for my SatAM fix, but little to nothing is there to keep me up anymore. I'll just wait for it to appear online somewhere.

Saw the beginning of it.Good animation but the whole ordeal felt like somethin' I'd seen many times 'round in other shows. If you like it,the more power to ya.

The 1st episode was an okay start, still haven't seen the 2nd one(though I taped it). The art designs are okay, but I think they should have stuck with the style used in the card game. The dream creatures always looked a bit more detailed(and cooler) in the game.

Today's episode was probably the best yet, in my opinion. As long as the series' plot keeps developing, I'll continue to tune in.
