Despite a great interview with the director, Soul Calibur IV (http://kotaku.com/gaming/soul-calibur-iv/) wasn't playable here at TGS. But fortunately we do have a new trailer (http://kotaku.com/gaming/trailer/) to see! The game is looking really sharp and will be a definite addition to my collection. Who can resist shiny armor, sexy fighters and giant weapons? Now I just have to make the big decision: Xbox 360 or PS3...

As much as I love my Wii, the high end games practically beg for one of the big power consoles to back it up. This is just more proof of that.

Anyway, this is the last Soul Calibur, right? Or has Namco changed their minds?

(on a side not, before the trailer there was an ad for 'Warriors Orochi', a game by Koei which seem to feature the cast of Dynasty Warrior, anybody know what it is?)

Looks like Siegfried has Soul Calibur and is more awesome than ever.

Awesome trailer, once again Soul Calibur promises to improve drastically on the last game.

Warriors Orochi is a mix of the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors characters, the serpent king Orochi bent time and space to bring them all together, some work for/with him and some work against him, has pretty much all the characters from DW5 and SW2 plus Da Ji and Orochi himself, 4 stories to choose from, Wu Wei Shu and Samurai Warriors(Sengoku)

Beats me, i've only got DW5 and SW1 so i know nothing about Da Ji.
