Image Comics Solicitations for December 2007 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=11902)
Comments:
- I love the pitch for The Infinite Horizon and I love Phil Noto's artwork. There was a preview (http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=126366) that I wasn't completely in love with, though. I might wait for the trade or I might go for the singles.
- If I were an Invincible fan, I'd probably be over the moon about Invincible: Atom Eve. It's not even that I don't like Invincible, but I just never felt as compelled to get past the first TPB. Really nice cover (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/imagecomics/122007/atomeve_01.jpg), though.
- I think I'm on board for The Next Issue Project #1: Fantastic Comics #24. Despite the unwieldy title, it sounds like it could be fun.
- A Red Mass for Mars really needs a lot better solicitation text to land a sale. I liked Jonathan Hickman's The Nightly News, but I think it would make a much more satisfying read all at once, which is why I'm waiting for the trade for Pax Romana.
- Amusing cover to Crawl Space #3 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/imagecomics/122007/crawlspace_xxombies_03.jpg).
- It's not until you hit Elephantmen that I find something I'm committed to. Hmm.
- re: Killing Girl. It's "Achilles HEEL," not "Achilles HEAL." That don't make no sense. Grrrrrr.
- Suburban Glamour has got to have the coolest covers ever (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/imagecomics/122007/suburbanglamour_04.jpg). Jamie McKelvie's Phonogram was a lot of fun, and I'm looking forward to the trade for these.
