Getting
-Countdown to Final Crisis #21-18
-Countdown Presents: The Search for Ray Palmer: Red Son #1
-Countdown Presents: The Search for Ray Palmer: Superwoman/Batwoman #1 - Not a fan of either character, but I've liked the search so far
-Booster Gold #5 - If they reverse Barbra getting crippled, I won't be happy. It's become her character more than Batgirl ever did.
-Robin #169 - Oooh! I like this plot twist. Only because it's been lead up to, and makes sense.
-Batman #672 - I was cool until I read "Guest starring Bat-Mite!". Now, not so much.
-All Star Superman #10
-Action Comics #860
-The Brave and the Bold #9 - Although I'm really close to canceling this thing.
-Justice League of America #16
-Teen Titans #54 - So far, with Supergirl and Beetle on the team, it's sort of a -1/+1 kind of thing.
-Gon vol. 3
Might Get/Not Getting But Worth Note
-No Christmas comics this year? Weak. You used to get at least a good JLU one out of it. All this year has is a re-offer on the TPB. Nothing new.
-Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps Wars Vol. 1 HC - I may get it. I don't know. It's only 5 issues, so it's kind of steep. I may wait for the paperback.
-Legion of Super-Heroes #37 - No more Supergirl? Not to mention, why isn't the Action Comics storyline taking place in here?
-Green Lantern Corps #19 - "And as Kyle Rayner tries to start his new life as a Green Lantern." So I guess Kyle doesn't bond with Ion again. It was good while it lasted. Guess he's pushed to the backburner again.
-Nightwing #139 - I gave up on Nightwing some time ago, I but I may jump back for one issue just to see him go at it with Tim.
-Green Arrow/Black Canary #3 - Another Month, Another missing GA on the cover.

Plan on buying:
All Star Superman #10
Superman #671
Showcase Presents: Justice League of America, vol. 3 TPB
Considering buying:
Captain Carrot and the Final Ark #3
Seeing Alley-Kat-Abra on the cover of the third issue of the Zoo Crew miniseries makes me more likely to buy this one, since I assume it means they've disposed of the idea of her being some rodent-hating murderer.
Starro (or more specifically, a fragment of him from Earth-1 that passed into Earth-C's universe and grew into a new Starro) was the Zoo Crew's enemy in their origin/first adventure.
Hope this doesn't mean Earth-C the planet gets destroyed---would be weird to think of the inhabitants living on some other planet elsewhere (or forced to share space with their counterparts on Earth-C-Minus...).

COUNTDOWN TO FINAL CRISIS #21-18 - this seems to be going by fast.
COUNTDOWN: ARENA #1-4 - i might get this depending on which heroes are fighting.
BAT LASH #1
CRIME BIBLE: THE FIVE LESSONS OF BLOOD #3
ROBIN #169
NIGHTWING #139
DETECTIVE COMICS #839
BATMAN #672
BATMAN CONFIDENTIAL #12
ALL STAR SUPERMAN #10
ACTION COMICS #860
SUPERMAN #671
SUPERMAN/BATMAN #44
SUPERGIRL #24
SUPERMAN CONFIDENTIAL #10
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #16
TEEN TITANS #54
WONDER WOMAN #15
SHOWCASE PRESENTS: JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA VOL. 3 TP
SHOWCASE PRESENTS: ROBIN, THE BOY WONDER VOL. 1 TP - THIS BETTER NOT GET CANCELED OR DELAYED. they better keep this cover as well. i think i'm slowly getting my wish of more bronze age reprints with this and the batgirl showcase. of course, the thing i really really need is dennis o'neil's sandman superman story in color! oh wait, lets have the sandman superman appear in countdown/final crisis, then they'll HAVE to do a tie in trade!
TEEN TITANS GO! #50 - if this isnt the last issue, then they're really dragging this title on. 50 is a nice number to end it.
EL DIABLO TP
im sure alot of people will tell me to get BOOSTER GOLD and JSA instead of waiting for the trade of the current stories going on this month. i'm finished with THE SPIRIT .

Some quick comments:
-Booster Gold #5 - If they reverse Barbra getting crippled, I won't be happy. It's become her character more than Batgirl ever did.
They won't reverse it. They wouldn't dream of touching Alan Moore and Frank Miller's 80's stories. Still, it should be an interesting issue!
-The Brave and the Bold #9 - Although I'm really close to canceling this thing.
I bought the first two issues and found them to be boring. Is it just me, or has Mark Waid lost some of his magic touch?!?
-Legion of Super-Heroes #37 - No more Supergirl? Not to mention, why isn't the Action Comics storyline taking place in here?
Maybe someone realized that bringing Supergirl on board instead of Superboy served no real purpose?!?
Anyway, here's what's on my "definently going to pick up" list:
Booster Gold #5: Looks awesome! This could be the best "DC main continuity" title in a few years!!!
All Star Superman #10: It'd be nice if they'd stopping bragging about the book and explain just what's going on in this issue...
Justice League of America #16: Is that a "52" tie-in I sense from the cover?!? Bah...I may be buying this only because of Dwayne McDuffie's writing.
Jonah Hex #26: Still picking this up, though I don't know why, (the stories are getting hit-or-miss...)
Ex Machina #33: The last few issues have been pretty good, so I guess this title is saved from the "maybe I'll drop this title" list...
Scalped #12: Each issue, this Vertigo title keeps getting better and better...
On the "maybe I'll get it, maybe I won't" list:
Bat Lash #1: I've enjoyed Jonah Hex, and this may be another fine DC Western title. Plus, I love John Severin's artwork!!
Northlanders #1: Oooh, VIKINGS!!! I might be willing to give this title a shot, but I was sorely disappointed by "DMZ", (Brian Wood's other Vertigo title)...
Green Lantern: Sinestro Corps Vol. 1 HC: I'm awfully tempted to jump in on this storyline...(it's why I've been doing the talkback thread for it, to see what others are saying about it).
Flash #235: I'm still wondering if Mark Waid has lost his magic spark...
I have to admit that "Countdown: Arena" looks like a lot of fun, but I'm still avoiding all the Countdown material...
Oh, and I'm still sitting out on buying "Detective Comics" until the Ra's Al Ghul crossover is over with...in fact, I'm still considering dropping the book alltogether.
And I'd love to get a Legion of Superheroes title written by Jim Shooter, but he's building off of the flawed Mark Waid Legion, so I think I'll pass...
Hey, look!!! It's Batman vs. Wolverine!!! (http://images.comicbookresources.com/solicits/dccomics/200712/superman_batman/DTC-Cv839.jpg) :p

They won't reverse it. They wouldn't dream of touching Alan Moore and Frank Miller's 80's stories. Still, it should be an interesting issue!
Actually, one of Gail Simone's plot elements in Birds of Prey was the possibility that Barbara Gordon might regain some or all of her mobility. She was able to wiggle her toes for the first time.
My comments for the month's comics:
- Countdown: Arena. Monarch? Like, REALLY?!? They're bringing back MONARCH? Bleck.
- Neat cover to Countdown to Mystery #4 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/dcu/CTMYS-Cv4.jpg).
- Nice to see Alan Burnett is getting more work, although I wonder why they picked him for a Countdown Ray Palmer Red Son special. (No, I'm not typing out that whole ridiculously long title.)
- Two magic words to get me to pre-order Bat Lash #1? Sergio Aragones (or, if I were Zatanna, "Oigres Senogara"). Walt Simonson covers don't hurt, either.
- La la la I'm not reading the solicitation text for Suicide Squad: Raise the Flag la la la nice cover (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/dcu/SUSQv2-Cv4.jpg) don't tell me waiting for the trade la la la!!
- That's a very clever cover to Catwoman #74.
- Um, normally I'm a fan of Ladronn's covers, but something about his cover for All New Atom #8 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/dcu/ATOM_CVR_18_SOLICITS.jpg) is off. Two specific somethings, really. Yikes.
- That is an awesome cover to Checkmate #21 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/dcu/CHECK-Cv21.jpg).
- The fact that there are three separate Green Lantern-related covers that all look the same means something, I'm sure. Just not sure what.
- That's a really neat pitch to JLA Classified #46 of making a parallel between spouses and loved ones of superheroes with spouses and loved ones of police officers or soldiers. I also note that they neatly avoided the usual jokes by making Batman's "loved one" Alfred instead of Robin. Sounds like a done-in-one, so I might pick that up.
- Whoa, Gail Simone is picking up The Spirit after Darwyn Cooke? Was this announced anywhere when I wasn't paying attention? I may not stop buying the monthlies for that after all. (And, by the way, I love Darwyn Cooke (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/dcu/SPIRIT-13_PICKUP.jpg))
- Huh. Batman: False Faces seems to be early Brian K. Vaughan Batman comics collected in a $20 hardcover. I just might get that.
- Oh, good, they're still collecting JLA: Classified arcs into trades. I'll need to get that JLA: The Hypothetical Woman TPB.
- Cool cover to Justice League Unlimited #40 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/johnnydc/JLU-Cv40.jpg). I might just be a sucker for Zatanna, though.
- On the other hand, the cover to Teen Titans Go! #50 (http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/preview2.php?image=solicits/dccomics/200712/johnnydc/TTG-Cv50.jpg) doesn't need Zatanna to kick ass.
- Unlike wonderfly, I like DMZ a lot. However, I've also decided that it reads a lot better in trades, so I've switched to that format. I'm not sure I'm going to bother with the monthlies for Northlanders #1, especially since I know Vertigo is more willing to wait for trade results before axing titles.
- I think I need to preorder the Incognegro HC on general principle, especially because it's the kind of thing I'd read and say, "That sounds cool but I'll wait for the trade" if it was solicited in single issues. It's a high concept that's pretty damn cool, though.
- Never heard of Fight for Tomorrow, but it sounds cool enough to pre-order.
