I just thought these were interesting. I found out there are some pretty famous people who are comic fanatics. Some are obvious and others are not so obvious. Here it goes.

Joey Fatone (from NSYNC)- This is an easy one. Considering there was a whole thread about him. He's obviously a big Superman fan. Remember the red hair?

Hurricane Helms (WWF wrestler)- apparently, he's a big Green Lantern fan. He said Green Lantern was his childhood superhero idol. Well... it certainly reflects his WWF persona.

Howerd Stern (shock jock radio host)- believe it or not, he's a big Green Lantern fan. I listen to him in the mornings, and he actually praised Green Lantern for being his favorite comic book. Apparently, he keeps a stack of comic books in the bathroom, so when he's on the can he can catch up on his reading.

Ashley (from O-Town)- He's a big Superman fan. There was a recent episode of MTV cribs, and he had a huge metal plaque of the Superman symbol overhanging his bed.

Antonio Sabato Junior (Calvin Klein underwaer model)- He's a diehard Batman fan, mainly of the oldschool 60's version. He even has a Batman tatoo on his back reminiscent of the 60's style Batman.

Do you know of any other celebrities who are DC or comic fans?

Jerry Seinfeld is definately a huge Superman fan, and I know Drew Carey is a big Bat-fan, too.

This is a tie in with the gawd-awful STEEL MOVIE thread, but Shaquille O'Neal is a definite Superman fan.

Oh yeah, and I think Paul Dini and Bruce Timm have a certain draw towards pretty much all DC characters, too. I'm still checking with my sources on this one.

I read in some trivia article that in every Seinfeld episode there is a Superman "S" symbol somewhere in every episode. For those of you who are Seinfeld fans, can you confirm this?

Jerry has Superman magnets on his fridge, so they're pretty much in every episode. He also has statues in his apartment, and other references to Lex Luthor, Lois Lane, (the Green Lantern, Batman, Two-Face, Aquaman, etc) and an entire episode dedicated to Bizarro.

There are probably more, but off the top of my head, these are the ones I know.

I agree, the memorabelia around Jerry's apartment probably guaruntees that they are in the shot in several scenes per episode.

Now that I think about it, I saw a lot of Superman stuff in Jerry's apartment, I thought it was so awesome. I vaugely recall the magnets on the fridge, but I definetly remember the Superman statue, that was great. it's always fun to see which celebs love which superhero. It always seems to be either Batman or Superman. Are there any celebs who have a leaning towards Wonder Woman, Flash, or Green Lantern?

My favorite was when Elaine made fun of Jerry for his "drawings of naked Lois Lane".

You can't blame the guy, hell, if I could draw I might have some lying around too.
